im in a band and i need more breath cuz i keep running out what should i do and i have a mic and my scream sounds weird on the mic but i think its cuz the amp is rite by me so i think thats what its like so just wondering

If you keep screaming without proper vocal technique you are going to ruin your voice.
It you do not want, or can not afford to take vocal lessons, at least go on-line to somewhere like Musician's Friend and purchase a book or two on vocal technique.

I have owned Hal Leonard's book," The Rock and Roll Singers Survival Manual" and would recomend it to anyone aspiring to improve their vioce.
As for how your voice sounds whem miked, you might look into a signal processor for vocals(also sold through M.F.)
There isn't a professional singer in the world(except Opera singers) who does not use a signal processor..
You would be suprised at how bad some singers are without them.

Practice. Get your diaphram use to it & you will be able to keep it up more. Nice!!! I like bands that scream..
