I am really interested in investing in the stock market, but I don't want to use a broker. Is there a website or something to go to, to invest in a companie?

My daughter is 15 and has a girlfriend. I am ok with this. My problem is that they are all over each other all the time! As bad as this is at home I am embarassed to be out in public with them. I'm not so much embarassed that my child is gay, but you know the stigma that goes with it. I don't like the way people look at them. I want to protect her, even from family. So is it wrong for me to ask them not to be so obvious when we are in public? Keep in mind I have only known about all this for about 6 months so I have not fully worked it out in my own head. But I love her no matter what, and her girlfriend is a good kid.

I am wanting to move because of being very unhappy with where im at. But my landlord wants 3 months rent in advance to break the lease. Someone mentioned subleasing but i dont know what you have to do or go about doing to do this. so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

We're handy but first timers. We're looking at Boulder Creek product line. We're considering stackable, groutless stone. We have a gas fireplace, framed-out by wood and 5/8 sheetrock. Boulder Creek directions state layout black rosin paper, 3/4 wire lathe, scratch coat on top and mortar to install stone. Will this process adhere to sheetrock? Should we use wonderboard instead?

I was never good in math... How do I calculate what my final mark would be in a class? Our first exam was worth 35%, participation worth 20%, and final exam worth 45%.

I was myself many years ago and have since helped others see their is hope and love all around you just for the asking. For a "solid" friend of 10 years, how much money should I give as gift for the new couple (we're all pretty young age wise for the whole gift list thing, plus I'm friends with the groom, don't know the bride too well)? I always thought at least $100 was standard & I gave $100 for the last wedding I attended, while bringing a date. However, I am flying solo for this one (didn't even have the option of bringing a guest) and I'm hearing different opinions on how much to give. A little help would be appreciated.

I have the same Life Path, Expression, and Destiny number, which is 8. The only different one is my Soul Urge, which is 6.

he is a humper. One of the reasons I've always liked cats better than dogs is because they don't hump so why is it that I have to get the cat that humps? He does it when he's kneading the blankets before settling to sleep. I realize he's just feeling really happy, but does he have to be THAT happy? We can't stand it. Does anyone have any ideas how to discourage that behaviour? Thanks.

I have been using this to clean for years now, scrubbing the sink and tub, washing counters, cleaning drains. I always figured that the vinegar was acidic enough to eliminate most bacteria. Am I right or wrong, and if I'm wrong is there a better way to clean that is natural? I refuse to buy antibacterial products (although I guess I do use a 10% bleach solution, which by its nature is antibacterial, from time to time, but only when it is absolutely necessary) and most commercially produced cleaners. Does Seventh Generation or any of those other Eco-friendly products work better than the baking soda and vinegar method?

Lets start with my brother. He is a freeloader and doesn't give a care about anyone but himself. He has no respect for the women in the household. He picks fights with me, and gets aggressive if he doesn't get his way. I don't fight back but he just knocks me down and hits me. So a bully is what i would describe him as. I always ignore him its working...in a way. My dad is very sterotypical and a bit of a sexist. For an example. When i wanted to do Tae Kwon Do, he did not support me at all, and he had spasisms on the floor and said that would be me if i fought anyone- Since i was a girl. He does not stand up for his wife when my brother insults my mom behind her back. He and my brother complain about EVERYTHING and don't take action to do what they complain about. They expect my mom to clean everything. My dad cares about me, but doesn't treat me and my brother like equals. Its really starting to bug me, thats why i asked what i should do.

FDR..........don't know too much abou him but i heard he was pretty good. he gets the rap with locking of japanese prisoners. but we were at a war right? and not some skirmish like iraq, but a real war. japan was NOT our friend during WWII. how was he as a person? did he "cheat" on his wife?
ABE.......he's the complete opposite of JFK. while i like jfk and people disagree with me, people seem to like abe and i disagree with them.

I recently adopted a baby rat who was in good health (hes currently 6wks old). He lived with another adult rat & 4 mice in pine PELLET (not shavings!) litter mixed w/ Yesterdays News (cat version) w/ carefresh paper ontop. Lately he's been sneezing quite often, I've looked at his nose and the stuff is clear. It goes away at times and his nose is fine and dry, then randomly gets sneezing fits. Its so weird. I have him now with some antibiotics that were orignally prescribed for my mouse and in Ultra Carefresh bedding. Anyone know what could be wrong? His breathing sounds fine, btw. No congestion or gurgling.
