According to the article below, last month's U.S. Supreme Court ruling upholding a national ban on so-called partial birth abortion has encouraged abortion rights opponents to shift tactics. The anti-abortion rights movement has escalated a campaign for state laws that require women to be offered ultrasounds or information on fetal development, The New York Times reported. "We think of ourselves as very pro-woman," Wanda Franz, president of the National Right to Life Committee, told the Times. "We believe that when you help the woman, you help the baby." we just moved and i had to reload the sims 2 game on my computer! but it wont work it stops on 20% then it says.....
"" A problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'TSData/Res/sound/Sfx.1package' from the media. Do you want to retry to copy the file , or cancel the installation"" i pressed retry but that same message came up !!!! please help!! i called the sims 2 company but they didnt know wat to do!!

to believe in, why believe in the bible at all? Since you know a) most of it is myth and b) it was written by fallible people, why stick to it at all? Doesn't the fact that you have to resort to picking and choosing suggest it's a pretty whacked book and not the "inspired word of god?"

I am getting married next august to a wonderful man, and marrying into a wonderful family, my inlaws are like my second parents.

Just recently my fiance's brother began going through a divorce, is not yet legally seperated no paperwork has been started but wife has moved out.

He has began dating a new girl, who has just plopped right in where his wife left off, taking care of their infant son, cooking, cleaning etc. And while I do like this girl, I do not support their relationship I feel it needs to be put on hold until the divorce.

My issue is, they have only been seeing each other a month, and I am feeling jealous that she gets to spend so much time with my nephew when I used to babysit all the time-now she does. She is sending my MIL pictures of our nephew, emailing, etc.

I know I am being stupid, but it is frustrating and im not overly upset about it...more upset about the fact that it even bothers me!!

How would you feel?

If i had £400,000 cash to invest and wanted good return after 3yrs to invest elsewhere, would either of these seem like a good, short term, large gain option?
To invest in some flats worth 650,000 and pay off the 250,000 mortgage within 3 years to avoid paying lots of interest - then hopefully own outright some flats worth about 750,000
Or put the money in an account and just add the £90+ a year i would be using to pay off the mortgage
Option two there is no rental income (approx. £40,000 pa) but you avoid having to pay a high rate of interest on a mortgage but with option one there is the interest rate you will be receiving combined with the absence of any interest being paid on a mortgage + less hassle! - but then you will not benefit from the potential rise in value that the flats could see over the three years + rental income
Very unsure and any other ideas or helpful advice would be much appreciated

I went to the dentist today with toothache in a tooth that I got a pretty big filling in about 9 months ago. Until the weekend, I hadn't had any problems after getting the filling, but it started to hurt on Friday and got progressively worse. I went to the dentist today, he took out the filling and did a little bit more drilling, then put some kind of medicated filling in the tooth.

I have to go back next week to see whether I need a root canal in it or if I can just get a filling in it again. Why would I need a root canal in it and why do I have to wait for a week before he will know if I do or not?

I received and inheritance from a relative who was living overseas, I've done the legal paperwork required and then the attorney assigned to the case just informed me the United Nations won't allow this funds to be transferred because we have to pay taxes on these funds. Is this correct legally? What the United Nations has to do with my inheritane? This is really puzzling me and my relatives abroad. I thank you for your legal and honest answer, because the Bank is retaining the funds due to the United Nations requirements. Do I have to get my attorney from the Us to take care of this situation or leave it up to the Attorney there overseas. Thanks. Marina.
