yes, i have had a few. some were good but most were bad. i live in kansas where people are not as open to "new" things as the are in the city, so people do have a tendency to stare.

I am currently dating a Korean/White male. No one treats me any differently. Nor do they treat him that way. I think people are more accustomed to seeing those kind of relationships (Interracial). It is a good experience we get to share a combination of cultural differences. I enjoy him and he enjoys me. We have had our hard times but, we love each other so we have made it work. June 2nd was our year and a half mark by the way!

I made friends with a guy at my night school 3 years ago. He was a white Caucasians, but he was like a another brother in house. One day he surprised me while we where steadying. He tricked me into kissing him and that was the most passionate kiss i have had to date. Anyway every since then he never wanted to talk to me again (afraid of what mommy and grandparents would say)

I'm white and I dated a hispanic guy for 5 years.

We did a lot of fun things together and had some good times, and he was really good to me. But in the long run the cultural differences were just too much. I mean, he's from the U.S... nobody in his family even spoke spanish, but the cultural differences were still huge.

He thought the woman should do all the cooking and cleaning - I disagreed.
He thought women should do as they are told without arguing - I disagreed.
He thought he should do whatever he wanted and I should sit home and wait for him - I disagreed.
He thought at 35 years old he needed to discuss everything with his dad - I disagreed.

To him, he wasn't doing anything wrong. To me? I couldn't see spending the rest of my life with him, so I ended it. He was a good guy and had a good family - we were just too different.

I would not date outside of my race again.

I am in an interracial relationship. I live in a white neighbor hood and he moved out here to live w/ me. Some people do look at us differently and at times when i catch them staring i just wave and they look away. Who cares what they think about us its our lives we're not living there. I also used to work at Rite Aid and my old manager quit and a new one came in and looked at the other girls and said how come you didnt tell me she was dating a black man. Needless to say we didnt appreciate it to well and we did call the higher ups but all she got was a slap on the wrist.

yes - all of my serious relationships have been interracial. they were bad experiences b/c the guys were @$$*****, but that had nothing to do w/ their race. haha.
people in public treated us differently. their families were always cool about us, my family? not so much. it was their loss, though.

I am in one now and nobody says anything to us. I forget that we are an interracial couple, it doesn't bother either of us and I think that attitude is perceived and no one would say anything to us since we are fine with it. It probably depends where you live and what kind of people you surround yourself with though.

Yes and it was great. I got treated well by people who knew and loved us and badly by ignorant racists who felt cheated on because they were left out and alone.
