based ON indoctrination? Mostly TRUE.
Here is an interesting fact: In a recent survey of WHY people beleive in God, those responding gave rational explanations for their beleifs (the universe appears to be designed, etc.), but gave emotional responses for the needs of others (ie. they NEED God to have purpose in life, they need God to give them morals, etc.)
So, when it comes to beleif in God, seems most people beleive that they beleive because they are intelligent to do so, but all others beleive because they are emotionally weak. Interesting...

False, anti-religious propaganda is what is filled with emotionalized indoctrination, religion is faith based, if you choose not to believe in something then so be it, but if you choose to believe in something then also so be it.
Religion is based on truth in the Gospel, in the belief of something greater than us in the universe, a creator.
Faithless lives are the belief in only oneself and nothing else. That to me just seems very sad.
Truth lies in the person, their belief and their principles, not in indoctrination which can be false.
God bless and have a great day.

it somewhat is stemmed on certainty yet with a heavy dose of religion. working example, the Australian Aborigine's could no longer be sure how they have been given there, so as that they only assumed an excellent snake puked them out. Or whilst a historical race can not clarify the seasons, working example i've got faith it replaced into the egyptians who believed that as quickly as Set did some thing like, kidnap and steal some goddesses daughter for 0.5 of the twelve months, mentioned goddess could get all disillusioned/unhappy and it somewhat is the reason it may get chilly for the period of 0.5 of the twelve months. element is, it somewhat is all based upon primitive perceptions of certainty and how they could suited clarify it, and to be honest, it replaced into logical on the time. yet we've modern science to substantiate the truths.

I think to really comprehend the true nature of the cosmos one must utilize every available facet of ones mind, spirit and physical being. No amount of indoctrination can derive truth, truth only comes with great effort and intent-full search ,utilizing all available facts, observations and deductions.

False.
Many of the most brilliant minds in the world have been men of strong religious faith. They have made contributions in the area of the sciences (such as Isaac Newton), philosophy (such as Plato), medicine (such as Aristocle), politics (such as Wilberforce), education (such as Noah Webster), and more.
It is only when one acknowledge God, who is behind all truth and reality, that one has any chance of understanding it.

Since when is it illogical to "love your neighbor as your self"
to "feed the hungry" or "take care of the widow and orphan" all directed by Jesus/Paul in the New Testament
