I wonder if the US governemnt would benefit if all the Multi-Billionare companies in the world donated 80% of their profits every month to the US treasury so that the US economy can get better and solve a lot of financial problems like poverty, aids, cancer research, economy research, NASA research, and global warming research, cure for cancer AIDS HIV?

I financed a 2001 Ford Focus for $7,000. I owe about $6,300 on it right now. I have a one year old and I'm not going to be abel to work anymore, so I'm not going to be able to afford the car loan. What options do I have? I thought of trying to sell it, but I'll never get $6,300 for it I don't think. Probably around $4-5,000 or something. Help! I need to figure something out so I can get rid of this car payment!

Ok my computer was set up by my brother so I don't really know how its set up and I need some help understanding it.

There is a Netgear wireless router on the desk with 4 cables out the back. I'm connected to Tiscali Broadband, when I go to Network Connections it says I have a 1394 connection and a Local area connection.

So my question is this: is my internet coming through the router? Is there a wireless signal constantly flowing through my house? How would I connect a laptop through the wireless connection (it has wireless thingy stuck in the usb for picking up the signal)?

Just state if you need more info and thanks for the help

Doesn't it make you feel like they think that you're ignorant (even though you're not)?

For instance, when you go to job interview, people will tell you to dress well, answer question confidently, blah blah blah ... as if they're the experts and you don't know anything. And if you don't get the job (or the next interview), then they'll tell you "Oh, you should've done this or you should've done that ..." as if you don't already know how to do those things. (The fact of the matter is that you do know how to do those things, but under the special circumstances you couldn't do them. Things aren't always so simple.)

Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
How do you deal with this when it happens?

My 2 year old Ragdoll neutered indoor only male cat has not been feeling well. I noticed a problem about a month ago with his behavior he was just not interested in anything, or playing. I figured it was the weather change. Next I noticed his appetite change he started becoming finicky with food. Hmm I also have a 4 year old female spayed cat, and nothing has changed with her at all she's fine. Also nothing in our home has changed no stress factors. Next he started drinking lots of water, and sitting by his bowl. His stools go on and off soft to normal. I've tried different food, everything. He has been losing weight, but the last three weekends his behavior is just terrible and his weight now is drastic. He has an apt tonight with our vet for an exam and test. We called the breeder and he thinks he could have some poisoning from recalled food. But non of our food we fed was recalled unless this is a strange case?? So he's tired, his coat is terrible, and no appetite ideas

I'm persian, 18, living in tehran the capital. From my childhood, the time that i knew myself, i was interested in United States and its awesome people and its great history.
From then on, i always, watch American Movies, Channels, Games, Matches, etc. I always go to American Websites on the internet. I also celebrate American Holidays, halloween, thanksgiving and Fourth of July. I know much about U.S.A. and its history and i've read a lot of books about it. Believe it or not, i even have the flag of the U.S.A. in top of the wall of my room and also the Map of U.S. Every football game, like Dallas cowboys or every matches, when the national anthem of the U.S plays, i stand and put my hands on my heart and don't speak, and i respect it. So i wanna move to the USA but i don't think that ambassadors give me a permanent visa, but that's not fair, i lost a lot of uportunities in iran, because i focused in this. What should i do? i broke all the bridges behind. I can't go back. PLZ help.

i wondering if any one has thought of the problems with job restrictions, if you are a felon you automated can not work there, i your credit check comes back bad you cant get hired or promoted, if companies wont hire a felon, where do they go from there, i have had a lot of appications, where people have felonies, and the company will not let me hire them, what happen to trying to help people here, yes they did do wrong, but if they have payed for what they did, and have a clean record since that felon, why not give them a chance

I am a trekker, a really avid fan who's been watching Star Trek for years, but I was watching it the other day and I thought, when did it get so cheesy?

I watched Tom Paris and Harry Kim on Voyager in one of those stupid Captain Proton episodes and had to turn it off...when did Gene Roddenberry's vision start to get turned into this crap?

It's 2007 and Enterprise was the best thing anyone could come up with for a modern version of Star Trek? Does anyone feel like I do, that the spirit of the concept has been lost by all the producers who came after Roddenberry, like Rick Berman, etc. I feel like only Jeri Ryan produced anything that I liked...

I know countless fans who could come up with better stuff than some of the Captain Proton-like drivel that took over Star Trek...my goodness, get out of the holodeck and actually fly around some planets or something, jeez...

ask questions about your ex? Just wanting to know why it ended. The guy is just a friend, sometimes it seems like he is interested, but I never know with him. He asked if I still talk to my ex and I said every once in awhile that the guy cannot understand that we cannot be the friends we once were because of what he did. I am FSBO, offering 4% to a selling agent. Since I got sooooooooooooooooooo sick of showing my home to lairs, cheats and window shoppers, I started requesting that a 90% letter, prequalified verification be sent prior to showing my home. Realtors do it all the time before they take someone out for days to show homes.

Anyhow, one lady in particular forwarded me a copy of an email she get from Lending Tree through Amerisave. It states

"Dear Mrs. Smith,
We still have not heard from you regarding your application to Lending Tree. Your conditional approval with Amerisave is valid for 60 days from the date of initial inquiry, and it has been 45 days. Please take the time now to contact me or one of my team members to proceed with your loan request. We are here to help."

Should this be considered the same as a 90% letter, or is this just some cheap internet pre-approval crap they rubber stamp everyone with to get you hooked in? I only want qualified buyers here. Thanks!
