I'm persian, 18, living in tehran the capital. From my childhood, the time that i knew myself, i was interested in United States and its awesome people and its great history.
From then on, i always, watch American Movies, Channels, Games, Matches, etc. I always go to American Websites on the internet. I also celebrate American Holidays, halloween, thanksgiving and Fourth of July. I know much about U.S.A. and its history and i've read a lot of books about it. Believe it or not, i even have the flag of the U.S.A. in top of the wall of my room and also the Map of U.S. Every football game, like Dallas cowboys or every matches, when the national anthem of the U.S plays, i stand and put my hands on my heart and don't speak, and i respect it. So i wanna move to the USA but i don't think that ambassadors give me a permanent visa, but that's not fair, i lost a lot of uportunities in iran, because i focused in this. What should i do? i broke all the bridges behind. I can't go back. PLZ help.

We're not awesome people, just people from everywhere in the world who share a dream, and love freedom.

Our history is NOTHING compared to yours! WoW! Still, we're proud of what we've accomplished in 400 years (200 since we declared our independence).

We'd love to have you. Learn English (doing great), learn about our system of government, apply for a Visa.

But first, show you appreciate your own culture to those who have to say, "Yes" to your Visa. Look around. Find out who they say, "Yes" to, and do what is necessary.

In the United States, if you wish to emmigrate out, we say, "Sure".

You have a more difficult problem. I'm surprised they let you spend so much time focusing on the U.S.A. without getting upset with you! Nice to see some freedoms are there, too.

Good luck to you. Make sure you have no felony convictions, serious contagious diseases, and minimal job skills before you apply.

You are the type of person who should be here and while I think you would no doubt be an asset to this country I must say,do everything the legal way even if it takes a while.
One thing that you may not have seen or understand about America is how the people have an attitude of we can do anything if we keep trying and nothing is impossible. So, don't give up,keep trying, have the American can do attitude and you will get here! Good luck:)

Good luck! Iran is not exactly the most popular country here in the states at the moment. Hopefully, you don't judge this country too much based on our television and movies as most of what they show is complete crap.

Sorry, no good answer here! I wish every person that takes living in the U.S. of America for granted, could read your statement. Hang in there! Just keep applying.

People like you are who we should be embracing whole heartedly. I wish you the best my friend. Contact the consulate and maybe they can help you? That would be my only suggestion. Keep trying!!
