No one wants to be white when you talk about racism.Kind of like how no one wants to be a Catholic priest when you talk about molesting little boys.Do you agree with my observation or not?

I have an older (4yrs) Sony DVD player and a much newer (4 days) LCD TV. When I connect the two, the TV displays at 480i. There are no settings on either to change the resolution. There are no settings on the DVD player to tell which is the output.

Would it be possible for the DVD player to only support 480i max?

Should the outting of Valerie Plame be considered forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism? Yes.

Do Republicans support and encourage aggressive nationalism? You better believe it. Aggressive nationalism is the bread and butter of the Republican party.

Does Bush rule like a dictator? Absolutely.

I think it's a safe assumption that Republicans are fascists in the strict sense of the word.

Okay, so I have two 12x12x9 ceder boxes and a 12x24x9 rectangle box as well. They have proper draining on the bottom and I have potting soil recommended to me by the fine people at Lowes. I am also thinking of putting a layer of small pebbles at the bottom of all the boxes to improve drainage.
I went out today and bought many different kinds of flowers including Shasta Daisies, English Daisies, bellflowers, Petunias, and Balloon flowers from the local nursery.
Now, my question is this... how many can I plant in each box?? Some of the flowers say plant so many inches apart, so does that mean I can plant them (for example) at the 4 corners of the square boxes? Then what happens to all that space in between? Also, to what extent can I mix flower types in the same box?

Sorry for such a detailed question, I am somewhat of a novice at this! :)

I am going to pick out my new horse and I need a back up in chase there's two I like the same. The back up plan is the horses color.I don't want another palomino because I'm afraid I will think of my old horse to much and I won't bond with the new one and I my mom says I can't get a white (gray) quarter horse because it will get to dirty and I don't want a dark colored horse because I live in Florida.

So if you will pick a color out of the following a a little reason why I will be greatful.

I have a 50 gal barrel laying on its side. How do I figure out how much water each inch represents. I'm sure pi r sq'd is in there somewhere. The diameter of the barrel is 24". The length is 34". I want to mark the barrel so I know how much I am using.

Why do they try to prove religion wrong?

Religious people, have to teach others about their beliefs.

I was just reading a survey conducted by the Skeptic Magazine; http://www.skeptic.com/the_magazine/featured_articles/v12n03_orthodox_judaism_and_evolution.html it shows results that indicate a vast majority of Jewish students at universities reject evolution as an explanation for life on this planet and agree with the bibles writings that the universe is about 7000 years old and believe the Noah’s Ark story. Yet the wikipedia page on Israel; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isreal#Science_and_technology it shows that Israeli scientists have significantly contributed to the progress of modern science. How can this be?
