It is never 'easy'
(Revelation 19:11) And I saw the heaven opened, and, look! a white horse. And the one seated upon it is called Faithful and True, and he judges and carries on war in righteousness.

This is Jesus, not God.

Because this one ' judges'

(John 5:22) For the Father judges no one at all, but he has committed all the judging to the Son,

(John 6:46) Not that any man has seen the Father, except he who is from God; this one has seen the Father.

Jesus IS 'from' God and has seen Him.

(Revelation 19:13) and he is arrayed with an outer garment sprinkled with blood, and the name he is called is The Word of God.

'Sprinkled with blood' does not indicate an easy victory.

Who said going into battle is easy? You odviously have never been in battle. I have. I do not mean to put you down, but the reason that I say that you have never been in serious battle. Is because from the look of your question. You have never been.
Battle, regardless of how easily victory is gotten is never easy, regardless if the battle is spiritual or man made.

It will surely end in victory, but it could be a really hard battle. Not necessarily an easy one

Yes, I can imagine how easy it is to engage in a battle that you believe will result in victory.

The radical islamists who perpetrated 9-11 believed that victory and glory of god was inevitable. They believed that they were victorious in their battle.

Just because you know you will be victorious in battle does not mean that it won't come at a terrible price.
