Could there be a way that we can travel in space using our planet earth when it comes to intersteller travel?

I am interested about finding a way that we could travel to another solar system by taking earth with us. The fact is, that the sun could eventually die, and that we can find a way that we can swing earth out of orbit, and find a way that we can guide our planet, so that we can find another star and orbit that star. Sure, we will miss Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and our moon, but we can meet new planets as part of our new solar system.

This could also lead towards new ways to travel, so that we can use planets as a giant space ship so that we can carry our planets with us when it comes to intersteller and intergalactical travel. The problem lies when we can store and use power to hold our atmosphere and heat as we travel away from a sun and towards another star. But I think it can be done when we can work it out by technical means.

so, I saw a documentry in london about the sense of self or something and they talked about a "narrator" in our minds that comes up with rational reasons for why we do what we do.

How would you know if someone was head over heels for you?

See theres this guy that I'm in love with but he's to good to be true....I mean he tells the whole world his love for me.....he talks about me constantly to everybody, he watches me all the time and has my back on everything . My friends test him so much to see if hes real about everything he says....and he always come out with an A plus.He calls daily pays for meals, if I have to clean the house he offers to help....So is he Mr.Perfect...?

I watched the movie "Hostel" and no offence to anyone in Europe, but it has seriously scared me out of going.

Are hostels real or was that just made up for a movie?

why does every word of the Bible have to be true?

obviously the Bible saying so doesn't work logically. So, am I missing something? Jesus said he always spoke in parables, couldn't Creation and the Flood be metaphors or just poetry? Or does that tear down the whole thing for people? Just curious, it seems it would be hard to follow every word of the Bible.

Where did the small town hospitality go?

Recently, we moved to a small town in KY where everyone knows everyone. They all go to some kind of church together and they all do about the same thing. We moved here from GA and things are really different from what I am use too. Trying to fit in around here is very hard. I have two teenagers and a toddler. My girls have adjusted well and they are in highschool and they have friends.. But I tell ya- some parents are really hard to get a long with. They dont want anything to do with someone that wasnt born and raised around here. I just dont understand what I can do to get people to know who I am. I'm not a bad person to be around. I have three children that I am constantly doing things for. These people around here are so competative that it drives me insane. Whatever happen to small-town hospitality? I live in a neighborhood that they would rather stick their noses up in the air than say HELLO? After saying all of that... how can a person make friends with these people?

Paris Hilton?

What do you think of the Paris Hilton case? Was the sheriff being soft when he let her out? Was the judge wrong for not arresting him? Should the judge have let her free or was he right for putting her back in? Was it wrong of him to make her sentence the whole 45 days when it was the sheriff who let her out? She tested positive. My test came back negative. Her doctor said I should still take antibiotic just to be safe.
