This is the message I get when I try to update my computer, which has only been happening when I used Systems Restore. What does Error number: 0x80245003 mean? Can anyone help please?

Why is it called "life imprisonment" if in most countries, it doesn't actually mean "for the rest of your life"? For example, I live in the UK, and here, many people are sentenced to "life imprisonment" for crimes such as murder and sexual attacks, but most are released within 15-30 years. If they plead guilty, they can get their sentence slashed by a third. If they are young when imprisoned, this means that they have a very real chance of getting out with many years still to live.

Also, why is it considered by some to be against a person's human rights to be imprisoned for life? What about the human rights of the person who was killed or attacked?

I'm very interested in answers from all parts of the spectrum.

after ejaculation, can you wash away all the sperm with water or at least wipe away all sperm with toilet paper? i know that if you pee after ejactualtion that will kill all sperm left in your urethra but can you wash or wipe away sperm left on your penis?

almost a year ago he was sitting on the potty well, losing intrest in his binki, blanky, and bottle.....actually used them only in bed. Then we lost our house to a fire....his blanket was with us and noone was home....he regressed deeply. Our Daughter was 8 and went through counsling and seems to be fine now. we then where tossed around for a while moving ever couple of months....moved states twice....things have been in a very heavy state of upheavle sence. he is using the potty all the time, and has completely gotten rid of his bottle. But the blanket has to go EVERYWHERE with us, and his binki too....it's even a huge fight to wash the blanket, can get him to leave them in the car once in a while but, not often and never at the house with out us. Should I be pushing this or just continue to ride it out?

when i turn 18 in nj is STILL cant buy cigarettes. so what im saying is maybe one weekend im free in year or two and i put aside some cash i might go to like deleware or whatever where u have to be 18 and im liek ok thats chill. ill have id, drivers license etc. BUT will they let u buy there if its illegal at that age in your state? i doubt it but im just clarifying my friend said "as long as u got some id and are 18 and buying in deleware or whereever u gotta be 18 then its just fine". so its ok right?

I reciently thought of this question: Can a human brain become infected by a virus or other germ? After all, there are many bacteria in the bloodstream. So why can't the brain become infected? Is it just that the fatty content of the brain isn't very ...yummy... for germs? Are there germs that do that, and are simply rare? Or does the brain have special ways to kill these germs before they can get there? I have never heard of a "brain infection" other than cancer or a mental disease, and that's not what i'm talking about.
