I've been wondering this myself. I'm keeping my expectations low, because the IMDB user rating continues to drop on these movies.
Shrek: 8.0 out of 10
Shrek 2: 7.7 out of 10
Shrek the Third: 6.5 out of 10
According to IMDB, Shrek 4 is in pre-production and is slated to arrive in 2010. I can't help but wonder if DreamWorks won't pull the plug on it if the ratings stay this low... they certainly don't want to jeopardize their reputation, do they?

Why is this in Dodge?
Otherwise, it is an okay movie. Definitely not as great as the others, but in this one Shrek must find the new prince (or king or whoever) and he goes to a high school; that part is amusing. Most of the best parts are in previews around Yahoo! Movies and other websites on the internet, but it is worth seeing. Don't know if it's worth buying once it's out on DVD, but worth seeing.
I didn't laugh barely as much as in Shrek 1 or 2, I liked Shrek 2 the best, this one just didn't seem the same. Just seems like too much of a transition and I just can't see it being a true Shrek movie.
Like I said, it's worth seeing ... but it's just not the same as Shrek 1 and 2 were.

My family went to a premier for Shrek 3. It was good out kids ages 10, 6 & 4 liked it. But I think the first one was the best. But that is just my opinion.

No, I don't like it. It's a little bit boring for me. Shrek and Shrek2 were better.

not as good as the previous ones. It seems like theres not point for donkey or the cat and shrek gets way to nice and gooshy.

I laughed quite a bit. But IMHO I think it is more adult humour than for kids.
