can i buy cigarettes in other states?

when i turn 18 in nj is STILL cant buy cigarettes. so what im saying is maybe one weekend im free in year or two and i put aside some cash i might go to like deleware or whatever where u have to be 18 and im liek ok thats chill. ill have id, drivers license etc. BUT will they let u buy there if its illegal at that age in your state? i doubt it but im just clarifying my friend said "as long as u got some id and are 18 and buying in deleware or whereever u gotta be 18 then its just fine". so its ok right?

im doubting that they WONT let u buy it, meaning theyll prolly say yes if u want some marlboro menths. :)

you can buy them in a state where it is legal to do so at 18, but, DON'T get caught bringing them back into your state, because you will get hit with major taxes, as well as being fined for having them under the legal age.

That's what Pennsylvanians used to day back in the day when the drinking age was state regulated. They'd all go over to West Virginia to hit up the bar, where they were legal. So, to answer your question, yes you can legally purchase in an 18 and older state.

That's alot of work for some smokes, not worth the time and money really. But the answer is yes, you CAN buy them in other states if you are of legal age, regardless of where you are from.

Uhm, from what I could decipher of your question, my answer is that if you are of legal age to put cigarettes in the state you're trying to buy them in, you can buy them. In Utah, gambling is illegal, but I can buy lottery tickets in other states with my ID.
