I graduated with a Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography and had recently migrated to New York. I am seeking a job as a radiological technician/technologist but I understand that most hospital in NY requires a certified and license technician. How do i go about doing it? And idea how long this process will take?

I increasingly find American parents paying bills for their grown up (age over 25 and older) for stuff like cell phone, groceries.

I am not saying all but even the Wall Street Journal ran a story on this childish dependence of adult men and women on their parents.

In contrast, my foreign friends who are immigrants are fiercely independent and self-sufficient.

Why is this becoming a trend in American society? Is it because of baby-boomer parents?

I have lived in my current residence for the past 8 years just renting, from my sister who owns the house. I am now trying to purchase the house with my son as a co-signer., due to my poor credit and low income. What are some steps and procedures that would be the easiest way to obtain ownership. Can anyone elaborate on what it is to assume a mortgage or assume a loan, I 'm not sure which is correct. Please help.

I have heard not to use Carnival's excursions because they are overpriced. However, I feel more comfortable doing so because its my first cruise. I picked one excursion per port, just wondering if anyone has done these or has better suggestions:
Grand Cayman Islands- Cayman Parasail & Beach Escape
Cozumel- Beach Buggy & Snorkel Combo
Belize- Cave Tubing
Costa Maya- Jungle Beach Bread

Thanks!!

I have an all-day doctor's appointment in Houston three-weeks from now, so I'm planning to fly into to Houston Continental the day before my ordeal. A restaurant around the Rice Village area would be perfect.

Sersiosly... you guys don't care about God, prolly don't lead the most morally driven lives or own up to any good values, prolly got a bad habit or two, have bad attitudes or somethinn along the lines of like not caring about anyone but yourself and GARUNTEED none of you abstain from sex.

i realize "It's my life i'll do whatever i want" and that...is the devil speaking.

Feel free to embrace him all you want, i couldn't care less... i'm just stating a fact.

Yur all intrinsically evil. Enjoy.

OK, so when my boss was getting ready to go to Italy and asked me to house/guinea pig sit, I said sure because it was the day before and I knew he was in a bind. He said it was better than hiring a pet sitter. We did not discuss compensation but I figured he had a lot on his mind. I drove out there every day, a round trip drive of about 19 miles. The day before he and his wife were to return, I bought a few groceries for them so they'd have some food to nibble on when they got home instead of running right to the store. When he came back he said they'd appreciated that and would pay me back for them.

I gave him back his keys the other day. This morning he said he was going to the ATM to get money so he could pay me. Yippee.... So he just came in and gave me $29.....for the groceries....and nothing else. So, here's my dilemma, do I go in and ask him if he was planning on paying me for house sitting, or was it my own stupidity to not discuss payment before I accepted the gig?

Suggestions?

I would definitely say that without a doubt that North Korea is the worst country in the world to live in. The people there are starving and have no freedom and no rights, theres no internet because it's banned it's a prison state and if you leave the country without permission you will be shot, political prisoners are put in concentration camps and many of the prisoners are used for experiments by having poisonous gasses which are used for chemical weapons tested on them, women inside the concetration camps are also raped and many of the women get pregnant and their babies are either aborted or killed infront of them after they are born.
It's the most socially islolated country in the world and people are not allowed to know or hear about anything that happens in other countries, the poor people are forced to worship their tyrant leader Kim Jong Ill as a God and everyone of them has to wear a badge with his face on it and they all have to have posters of him hang up in their houses.
