Atheists tend to decide their morals for themselves, rather than having them dictated by their religion. EVERYONE has morals, everyone has things that they consider wrong and right. Some people follow societal rules, others religious. Atheists tend more toward deciding their own rules to follow. Now, whether most people follow their own rules is a totally different subject.

I can just see the Israelites congregate around Moses when he descended with the tablets containing the 10 commandments. They must've been glaring around at each other, open-mouthed, wondering why they never thought that killing and stealing was bad. News to them, huh?
