that the average person eats 6 spiders in their sleep over the course of their life? I forget where I read that, but seems disgustingly reasonable.

I am only 46 years old. He was 12 years older than I was and had just retired last September. Our plans were to travel in our RV and just enjoy life. Now I am lost about what to do in my life. He was my best friend. I have family and friends, but it just isn't the same.

In 1st Corinthians chapter 12 it's stated,
4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same[b] Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

But, in Mark 16:15-18 Jesus tells His disciples, And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they[a] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

KJV

Matthew 24:30,31

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet

Revelation 1:7-11,12,

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
I (John) was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last.....and I turned to see the voice that spake....

Who did John see speaking? .... if you keep reading, it goes on to say THE SON OF MAN. JESUS.

Should verse 8 really say Jehovah in the NWT? It wasn't him talking!!!

Personally, he's starting to tick me off. And just so you know, and I hope you read this, you're making other aeteists look bad. I'm sick of his continual stating that Christians are narrow minded and ignorant. I'm sure a lot are, I know a good many myself, but I'd say we are no worse than members of anyother religion. I know a good many Christians who are very open, kind people, and very devout at the same time.

My Mom was called back for a 2nd mammogram/ultrasound and went in to have it about a week ago. Today the doctor's office told her that there is a high probability of breast cancer. Today is June 5th. They scheduled a consultation appt. for June 19th. From there - the next step - if she chooses - will be a biopsy. They said the "spot" is deep - so I don't know if this will be a needle biopsy or if they will "cut her open" to get it. They told her the biopsy will not happen until the week of June 25th.

I'm thinking there is a bigger sense of urgency here than the doctors are promoting. Am I wrong? What are the average waiting times for this process.

If you've been through this process - or know someone who has - or you work in the medical field - I'd truly appreciate your answer.

If you're just guessing - well - thanks - but I'd prefer not to get those answers.

I have glasses now and I have an eye appointment coming up and have the option of getting contacts.

If you have contacts, do you prefer them over glasses? If so, why?

I also have acrylic nails. Could I end up cutting or scratching my eye when putting in and taking out contacts?

Yet support Hillary's expensive/ineffective universal health care plan? How are libs planning on paying for these social programs? By raising taxes on the rich, aka any family making over $30k per year? By pulling out of Iraq and Afghanistan and reducing the military budget by 70%? It seems to me that if a person was really interested in reducing the deficit they wouldn't support Hillary's health care plan or any of her other worthless social programs. The whole thing seems a little hypocritical of liberals. Almost.....almost as if they really could care less about the deficit as long as there is a liberal in the White House. But that would mean that libs' moral ideals are worthless and take a backseat to their hunger for power, but we know that isn't true. They are true patriots.
