i want to make a picnic for my boyfriend he likes pretty much everything but deviled eggs and potato salad are the two first things i thought of so if anyone else has suggestions please let them be known

When will a hero come along and ?

When will a hero come along and overthrow the corporate jerks we call politicians. We should completely revolutionize the country. Redo everything .... the system, the military, diplomacy, and where we should and shouldn't get involved.
But whatever...
8 years to be a doctor ? Paying taxes on our hard earned money ?
Hemmoraging money to colleges and universities to use "resources" to teach us ? Paying actors and athletes millions of dollars for what they should do because they love it & not for the money ?
Bullcrap ... but watevr ...

what do you think?

in my psychology class they said a person's attitude towards large bodies of water coincides with their attitude towards sex. Hence if you love the ocean - you love sex. I know its the same for me but this could just be a coincidence. Do you agree or disagree?

Low Battery Reading?

A about a year ago, the left lights on the dashboard went out. Slowly the problem got worse. Tonight most of the interior dash lights were out or really dim and the battery gauge was reading very low. The vehicle starts and doesnt seem to change when driving. The interior lights run off the aux are just fine, only low when the truck is on. Could be the alternator, but I am wondering if its a fuse issue or short, any thoughts?

Need to calculate frequency, wavelenvth, and energy for light?

I was given v=f(wavelength) and E=hf
one of the problems gives:
wavelength: 10^2m/s - 10^4m/s
energy: 10^-26J - 10^-27J

i used v=f(wavelength) to get 3.0*10^6Hz - 3.0*10^4Hz
If i use teh other equation, I get a completely different answer....
am i doing osmething wrong?

Atheist???

I never truly got it. I am not a deeply religious person, haven't been to church since cathloic bible school when I was 12, and I am an aspiring psychological researcher, but I never understood why people cannot fathom the idea of a god.

I believe in God, and I don't have to undergo a deep religious experience to do so. I think not having a little bit of childlike wonder is a little sad. I can believe in evolution and god, and any other scientific idea. Maybe its just me.Believing in god does not mean I have the hindrance of organized religion on my shoulders.

What do you think.

Anybody out there confident in an afterlife? Serious Answers Only!!!?

I've been incessantly thinking for several months about whether there is an afterlife. I've had two or three incidents in my life that may have been supernatural or spiritual, but I'm not sure. I am a Christian, and at first response I believe that that there is...but its the proverbial "seeing is believing" mentality that makes me still have some doubt.

Has anyone out there had an undeniable experience that makes him/her confident in an afterlife? With all due respect...please don't respond with Bible scripture, I simply want to know if anyone has had any personal experiences that add to their belief of an afterlife. Serious answers only please!!!

Do you think it would make any difference with Jeff Gordon?

Ok, if Jeff Gordon WASN'T racing so well, if he was just having an extremely bad season, would people still talk bad about him and call him gay, ect? The Gordon fans seems to think this is happening because the non-Gordon fans are jealous because he's winning and not their favorite driver. Do you really think it would make a difference if Gordon was dominating or not? Do you really think if he was 35th in points and having a horrible year that people would suddenly stop talking bad about Gordon?

i recently installed a lynksys wireless router on my computer how do i get the computer to recieve activity?

my comptuer works while it is plugged in it says that i have excellent signal strenth and i am sending out packets of activity but not recieving them, when i go into linksys easy link advisor and try to "unwire my computer" it says it cannot create a wireless profile on my computer.
