I've got a netgear wireless home router where my mac mini is connected directly to my modem and a Powerbook connected via Airport. Until today, everything was fine, but all of a sudden, my signal strength on my powerbook went down to near-zero. I'd like to make sure someone isn't stealing my signal, so how do I encrypt or protect my router signal?

Hi,

I installed a new radio and speakers last week. Everything was working perfect until today when I hit a pothole. It went silent. The radio seems to be working perfect except that I get no sound. When I turn it on I get a crackle in my drivers side front speaker then it goes silent. For a second or two it worked then stopped again. To make sure it wasnt the radio I plugged my old factory unit in and it was the same. It seems to do everything except sound. Would a short in one speaker make the others stop working? Any other thoughts?

Any help would be greatly apprciated. Thanks in advance,
Brett

For the past few months, I began to notice certain things about the society and people in general. I began to realize the truth that this world holds. Certain actions, morals and ideals that I have noticed in the society are poignant, they make me feel sad, some make me mad, others make me confused and yet others make me want to change. I realized how insignificant certain things are and I saw the uttermost importance of other things. I am changing, and I am happy to be doing so. Certain things I look back at and I realize how cynical and insignificant they are.
I am also beginning to realize how corrupted this society is – the sad part: People do not see it. Most live their lives as if they are preprogrammed to do so, their lives are built on a fragile network of customs and “laws”. People live lives with their eyes closed to many truths that are obstructed by the “society”. Morbid.

HOW DO I GET ON A PATH TO ENLIGHTMENT? I WANT TO BE FREE OF INTERNAL BURDEN AND UNEASINESS.

So i'm 18 now, and I want to start making money, working, and learning the value of the dollar. My only problem is what sort of job do I pick up? I've never worked so i have no experience, it wouldn't make sense to jump into something difficult. I'm not a very social person in general, and I mean shy in public, when i say that, but I think i would manage with having to deal with people on a daily basis quite well regardless of that. I just don't want to start with a grocery store job, I want somethign reasonable in a nice environment. I've been considering several book stores such as borders, but how willing would they be to hire someone who has no experience? Any suggestions on an appropriate job? I would rather NOT be on a register, but if that is what i must do , then so be it.
