Last night my husband came home and completly tore into me. I was told that the the house was to messy or in his exact words "You must like to live like a pig" They house wasnt perfect but it wasnt trashed. There was a few dishes in the sink from dinner, a load of laundry in the bathroom I hadnt gotton to and a few toys on the playroom floor. Thats it!!!! I was then told that I had let myself go and gotton fat since I've had our 2 kids. I stand 5 ft tall and where a size 2 for christ sake!!!!! No my tummy isnt as flat as it use to be but after a c-section with my last one it never will be short of having a tummy tuck. I mean I'm not one of those stay at home moms that run around in sweat pants day in and day out. I do my hair and make up , etc...... 90% of that time as long as my kids arent sick or we arent having a super crazy day. I dont get what his problem is???? I've refused to speak to him since this last night.

why is it that soda machines , candy machines, stamp machines, video games (arcade) slot machines, change machines and pretty much anything that dispenses something or that you have to put money in takes bills.

but at the laundry mat you have to put $5 in quarters in the damn washer!! or quarters in the dryer!

why is it that washers and dryers at the laundry still use quarters??

I'm about to go running.. I dunno how to tape my shin splint? It's bruised on its own.. At the lower inner base of the top of my ankle.. It hurts like hell when I run but I LOVE running so much I won't stop 'cause of the pain.. I used to tape it tight so I didn't feel the pain after my lower shin went numb.. *I know it's bad!* Anyway, can I tape it to help the support? How do I do it "safe?"

I remember doing this, I had a favourite, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 On video tape, and watched it repeatedly.
At the time I didn't understand why I didn't get bored. It was just so amazing.
However, I still can't explain the reason why I repeatedly watched the video multiple times.

I've sat through a bug's life dozens of times with my young nieces and whilst they never tire of it, I find myself appreciating the film more each time.

Perhaps it is because our minds are not developed enough to remember a variety of images and wishes to recreate the experience of enjoyment/fear etc...?

What do you think is the reason young children watch the same video over and over again?
