That is just the smell of new plastic and new fabric/Leather.
After time our stinky-oily bodies make that go away. You could say it gets broken-in over time.

for the most part the new car smell is like the others said the plastics and fabrics in the vehicle just being new, second of all when the car is detailed for delivery they use basically armor all on the dash and a leather conditioner if it has leather

They dont put anything in a new car, it smells new bcasue it is new,,,, but they do have air fresheners now that carry the new car scent and it really smells like the real thing, I havent bought one yet though, i like strawberry to much!!!!

they don't put anything in it, its just the release of chemical oders from the stuff cars are made out of
