I'm going to be paddleboating on a lake next week at a ranch, what should I wear? Do I wear my swimsuit, or do I wear clothes? For those of you who have done it, what did you wear?

My husband and I have been married for 8 and half years. Lately it seems like we can't see eye to eye on anything. I think he's being unfair and He's think I'm a bully. I see little situations where he will get an attitude and I will let it slide by because I understand we are not always going to be happy with each, but then I will get an attitude about a similar situation and I don't get the same courtesy. Also he really can't stand to be around my Mother or Brother and complains every time they come over but we live next door to his mother and aside from the occasional annoyance I don't say much. He feels like his family helps us out more (which is true) so I should not complain when I feel like they are all up in our business. I guess I need to know is it me? Am I seeing things as too much of a competition between us? I love him very much and just want to get back to where we use to be.

I am just curious and hope I do not offend anyone.

In the bible God says to worship no one but Him, so is it not wrong to worship Mary and other Saints?

Also, when you go to confessional, does it not bother you to confess and be forgiven by a priest who is a man and of course not sinless? Would it not be better to pray and get forgiveness right from the source..God?

Again I hope no one is offended I am truly interested in the answers to this. Thank you

We went for our first swim yesterday at the lake. My 2yr old went under the water for just a second. I was wondering....what if I return the summons with "moved, left no forwarding address" on the envelope? Do they actually check that stuff? Would I get into trouble?

Additionally...if I totally ignore the jury duty summons and say I never received it, will they actually prosecute me or fine me for not showing up? I live in a major metropolitan area of Northern California.

I was recently married. This was an arranged marriage. I'm from the U.S. with Indian ancestry and my wife is from India. There is a 15 year difference in our ages. I have a difficult time dealing with her because she seems so stupid. Some people told me that she could be retarded. So I bought her a jigsaw puzzle for ages 10 to adult. She could not figure it out. She tried putting the wrong pieces together forcefully. I took her to a large cookout. She spent all her time talking and playing with young children and avoided adult contact. She can't manage her money. She cries easily. She can not speak any language very clearly. She is not coordinated enough to ride a bicycle, use a can opener or a paper stapler. She refers to me as father or papa. How difficult would it be to have this marriage annulled and what steps should I do next. The marriage has never been consumated in 18 months. How can I keep my sanity in the meantime?

We were taught in public school that it took thousands or millions of years for rock layers to form. We were also taught that it took thousands to millions of years to form stalactites. I saw a stalactite that formed on a bridge (draw bridge that was stuck in the up position after a barge hit it) in a matter of weeks. How do they explain hats and other articles of clothing becoming fossilized in less that 100 years?

If the earth is billions of years old is the relatively small amount of data (only 100 years worth) on carbon decay a statistically valid sample size?
