Illegal alien supporters yell that the American Indians were here first. However, there is proof that Kelts (Irish, Scots, Welsh etc) were here as early as 500 BC. American Indians descended from Asians, the similarities between the two races is too great to ignore. So, they came here from somewhere else and overcame the Kelts. Did the Kelts overcome the phoenicians? There's proof they were as early as 1500 BC.

Then we hear of the immigrants at Ellis Island. They suffered hardships to be documented and legal.

American ancestors (race not withstanding) came to America when there were no laws against it, in fact, it was their job to settle America. They came here not as thieves in the night, disobeying the law. There was no form of government and no federal programs to help the first settlers get by. They lived by their own hands and built the USA. That's a contrast to illegal aliens. Why would your first action of finding a better a life be an illegal one?

I have been an athiest most of my life but a friend has been taking me to Catholic services and now I find myself wondering more. I haven't admitted anything to anyone yet not even my friend, I just tell him I am willing to go with him out of curiosity and because he asks me to.

I am a little freaked out ...am I being brainwashed? is that even possible?

I'm confused...maybe someone here can help, because you don't know me and we are anonymous. What do you think? Especially women and expecially women who maybe don't believe strongly.

If we could change the laws, would you let the father have the kids on an equal time frame, and give up child support?

I for one would have loved six months of every other weekend visitation.

And then I could have my kids back for 6 months.

And we wouldn't have to worry about Child Support, would we, because, If he had them half the time, I could afford to have them half the time.

I've had my 3 kids 24/7 for the last 8.5 years. He takes my boy almost 4 days a month, when he feels like it...but not the girls for the last 8 years. Yes, they are his. No, they were not small the girls were 12 and 9 when he left and my son was 5. Yes, the oldest is in college. No, he will not pick up when she gets up the courage to call. He has hurt her terribly as she thought she was Daddy's girl and he thought she was Disposable.

I think it is time the courts made fathers accountable as parents, not a paycheck.

ive had my small circle of friends for a few years now and ive been dating my gf for a little over 8 months i realize my gf comes first in most situations but now she says i cant talk to the friends i once had at all anymore,because my friends made remarks about her, but anything that was said i was told they didnt mean anything they said,they said they still like her and they would like to hang out with us but she wont allow that...what can i say to get through her thick head and make her realize anything my friends said about her they didnt mean it...i actually miss hanging out with them,they introduced me to alot of other people in which my reputation was growing now its stopped,what can i do to fix this,or isnt there anything?she claims if i would talk to my friends then she would talk to her friends which are guys,and a few of them are her ex's..whom i dont like because all they want is one thing and there just idiots plain and simple
