Loose fitting clothes that can be taken on/off easily, like a t-shirt and shorts, or a sundress. Wear these over your bathing suit with some flip flops and slather on the sunscreen. Good to go!

I always wear a bathing suit, t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops. I usually tuck a bra and pair of panties with a ziploc into my bag. That way I can wear dry clothes on the way home without having to carry a whole to outfit. Also, you may want to invest in one of those waterproof contaiers that go around your neck. If you put your money and car key in it you won't have to worry about losing them.
