Duende- Untranslatable. Literally refers to goblin-like creatures, but in artwork, it refers to something having character, charm, or soul (closest translation into English) I also like Ojala- I wish. It shows Spain's history as a Muslim nation.

My favorite spanish word is "Morriña". This word it's only used in Spain and comes from Galician (another spanish language, wich are pretty close to portuguese). It means, the nostalgy we feel for our homeland, when we're in the distance. Both pronunciation and meaning are beatiful!!

I like the word "chonchon". It means pig or piggy. Cracks me up everytime I hear it. I also like it when Spanish speakers pronounce English words with a Spanish accent. Like "Teletubbies" pronounced "teh- lay- toob-ees".

Extravagante (extravagant)

X-tra-bag-ant-eh

Sounds pretty much the same way... just add the 'eh' at the end! And I like it... well, 'cause it's fun! I love words with an 'x' on them.

I also like words with strong r's... like 'Ferrocarril' and 'Reloj' just 'cause they are hard to pronunce for foreigns.
