when spending a day on holiday ?

He has started writing down instances when her outbursts occur (she'll curse at their 8-year-old for nothing) and he wants the kid to live with him and for her to just get visitation after the divorce. What other steps should he take to make a better case for this? He feels it would be damaging for the child to live with her most of the time (plus, he's very close to this child-- it's the only reason he's stayed married this long). Any help, especially from a lawyer, would be appreciated.

I've had my cat for around 3 years, he's 12. He's always been the type to hide away for days at a time then come out and be "lovey" for a few days then goes back to hiding again. He was in hiding for a while longer then normal and just when I expected to find he'd died in a hiding spot I hadn't seen - I found him - or rather the dogs found him. He's not well. He's losing a lot of hair and it seems he's lost most control over his bottom half. He's having a real hard time moving around. I did find that he had pottied near where he was laying but it did not have the normal smells to it - the urine did not have a strong odor and the poop didn't look unusual. Beings it's a holiday weekend my vet is unavailable. I don't know what to do! My cat looks terrible, and probably is miserable as ever. Does anyone know what is going on with him?

A doctor spoke to his patient in his office. The doctor said "Well, I've got some bad news and some good news." Of course, the guy wanted to hear the bad news first (don't they always). The doctor bluntly said, "You've got about 48 hours to live." The man was devistated, "Oh my god, this is horrible, what am I going to do?"
Then in the midst of his grief and sorrow, he remembered that there was good news, too. "Doc, is there a cure or omething?"
"Cure, of course not, otherwise I wouldn't have told you that you only have 48 hours left. No, I'm sorry, there's no cure or treatment."
"But I thought you said there was good news." said the patient
"Oh yeah. Remember when you came in, the beautiful nurse?" Asked the doctor.
"Yeah," the puzzled patient said.
"The blonde one with the tight white uniform.."
"Yeah," the patient agrees.
"The one with the beautiful breasts bulging out of that uniform..."
"Yeahhhhh," the patient remembers and is starting to cheer up....

A neighbor's dog was killed last week. Apparently, someone opened your neighbor's fence and hit the dog with a blunt object. An anonymous witness gave the name of a sullen teenager who lives a few blocks away. However, the teen will not admit to the vicious act and the only evidence that connects the teen to the crime is a brownish stain on his sneakers that appears to be blood. You are called to testify that the brownish stain is blood from the dog that you have matched to blood found at the scene. I know this has been asked a million times. But MY question is HOW do I get a summer job? I'm totally confused. I already have a resume because I made one a couple years ago (i updated it recently). Do I go in person and give companies my resume? Do I look in the Help Wanted section of newspapers? Or do I just go into stores/restaraunts and ask if they'd like a teenager? Or do I apply online??? I really am totally confused!

I want to start working in early July. Do you think that's too late?

I'm already aware of the child labor laws and stuff in my state. My only question is *how* to find and acquire a job. Someone please answer this for me.

ok one night i was asleep and i had a horrible dream and it was of this demonish lookin creature with a golden thing around its arm, kinda of like the rock wears in that scorpian king movie..i think. but this creature was blueish green kinda and was after me and trying to kill me..but when i woke up i was like oh what a dream haha..but then it got worse the next night i was alone and something seemed to be watchin me and waiting for me...but that night i had no dream... a few nights later i had been having trouble sleeping and everytime i would shower or go to the restroom i could sense something outside watchin me (theres a restroom in there) and that night i heard a wistling sound and could hear footsteps in my house and something stomping on the roof...and it felt like something or someone was right by my bed watchin me i could sense this.. then one night i went to go feed my dogs and they were going crazy barking and jumping for some reason and then i could sense that wierd feeling i had been having for a week..getting chills and goosebumbs and i felt someone close and i heard a wierd sound in the trees...and it seemed to be getting worse..i was getting barley like 4-5 hours of sleep at night and i tried putting headphones on and listening to music to not hear these sounds but i could sense it and hear it over the music..( i know this sounds wierd and fake but i sware im telling the truth.. i talked to my mom and some of my aunts about it and they told me stories of my grandma having a simular problem with something called the La Chusa...and it was always in her trees and by her house but she got rid of it by being very religious..and they told me one of my aunts was playing some game with her friend while they were there and they said my grandma told them not to be around this girl..but this game was some kinda of game that u asked it a question and u put ur hands on it or something and it would answer by giving you letters..and they said that they were playin it one time and she asked it something and all of a sudden the room got pitch black and they saw the demon things and then they told her to stop...and she did but this girl was my aunts bestfriend..so they were playin one day and she did something to my aunt...and my aunt one day was sweating tremendously and was in bed and all of a sudden the door slammed shut in her room and my grandma tried to open it but it wouldnt open until she splashed holy water on it..and then she took my aunt to some lady to help her with her sleeping problems and to see who had put this thing on her...cant remember what this lady is called..but eventually she helped find out who it was and it was her best friend...im just trying to explain other freakish things that have happend in my family) but back to my story.. things just seemed to get worse so i would put that holy water around my house and bed but it barley helped i was still freaked out to go to sleep and cud still sense this feeling...i went to talk to my priest and he explained that i have to have faith and just pray and that some saints and others were put threw similar and worse things...so i prayed many times and put a cross over my bed and kept holy water with me. one night it was the worse night my room..which is usually cool and comfortable..was blazing hot and i was sweating alot, and the feeling i had been gettin was as worse as ever and i just started praying and after about an hour i somehow feel asleep i dont remember how tho.. after that night which was way worse that it sounded this feeling and noises died down and kinda somewhat left me alone and then finally went away...sometimes i still sense stuff outside and especially when im in the shower or restroom shaving...but can someone help explain this or anythign about it? was my faith or belief being tested? was i being haunted? any help would be nice...

I always get props for breastfeeding my daughter for 21 months, and for still going with my son who is 11 months old. As I see it, if you stay at home, and if you don't do drugs or have HIV, there's no excuse for not going a year. (And before I had kids I thought breastfeeding was abhorrent and swore I would never do it!) I'm just wondering, since the AAP says you should go at least a year, how many moms are still doing it and when do they usually quit?

With our, it doesn't have anything to do with the amount of curse words, it has to do with the song's message. If I hear them listening to a song, and the song's message is something I wouldn't want them to do or say, then we tell them to turn it off.

My brother in-law, however, shields his kids from anything other than music that has it's roots in scripture or praise to God.

Still another Christian family I know of chooses to let their kids listen to whatever they want...citing that shielding your kids from things only makes them want it more.
