Save who? The missionaries or the Democrats?

I am a very conservative, religious person (I'm Catholic), and I feel that the Mormon church has every right to send missionaries to discuss its positions with the Democrats at their convention. However, I feel that it is wrong to assume that all of the Democrats are going to hell (I'm Republican). Final judgment is left up to God's grace alone. The Mormon church will accomplish NOTHING by going into the convention with the confrontational "you're going to hell" attitude.

Get a clue. Mormons can be Republican, Democrat, Independent, Constitutionalist, whatever they want to be. It's not like they will be ex-ed by the church if they are a Democrat. Do more research before you post your question. Just because Romney is republican and Mormon doesn't mean all of them are that way.

There are many Mormons among the democrats. Harry Reid is a Mormon/Dem, and so is Eni Faleomavaega from American Samoa.

And how exactly would that work? As I understand it, only accepting Jesus as your saviour will get you into heaven. I'd rather stay with all my friends though :)
