That would mean that he was born by Parthenogenesis, which occurs when an egg cell is triggered to develop as an embryo without the addition of any genetic material from a male sperm cell.

This asexual reproduction reduces genetic diversity and this makes it harder for organisms to adapt - to changed environmental conditions. So therefore was Jesus a genetically substandard human being?

Last year I was diagnosed with GAD and went on lexapro. The lexapro did help to alleviate my symptoms but I hated take a drug everday to feel normal. I weaned myself off the medicine in October and have been fine ever since. I recently got sick with a sinus infection and had to go to the doctor and for some reason now I feel some of my symptoms may have returned. Mainly nauseau and being jittery. I took a xanax and the doctor said I could go back on lexapro but I really don't like being on the meds. I feel horrible though. No appetite at all.

I've never understood this and am in no way interested in starting any sort of theological debate. The grammar freak in me just wonders why in the hell people don't just type out the entire word.

I have recently had my walls skimmed by a plasterer. The plaster has dried but painting the walls seems to use up a lot of paint, is there anything I can put on the new plaster to stop it soaking so much up?

I have a friend from Bolivia that has been attending school here in the US for 6 years now.. she has become quite fond of the US and has applied for her Visa.. but her name didn't come up in the lottery.. now.. it's not that I don't have compassion for the people that are getting amnesty.. but shouldn't we be trying to keep people like this young lady who have earned so much in a legal way? She will most likely be forced to return home. Does that seem right?

It just seems to me that a steryotype can only be put into place if it was, at some point, true. Why are they considered so negitive, then? Obviously they don't hold true in every instance, but it seems like they do a vast majority of the time.

For example- It really seems like most irish people drink alot, and really like beer (not everyone, obviously.)

I'm a girl, and I'll say this- It really seems like most women are horrible drivers. Exceptions exist, of course.

See what I mean? What do you think?

OK, let’s take this imaginary situation. Some Liberals are calling Bush a dictator, so what if he actually tried to become one?

What if he took total control of the military, got governors and local politicians on his side (not many people turn down power), and got them to use local police forces to disarm the civilians. And, the “evil Republicans” who still support Bush start to keep the “protesters” in line. Bush now has a force of shock troops in every major city.

He would start making threats to other countries, trying to intimidate them for reward. We would threaten to invade MORE countries in the Middle East for oil. We would start bragging more and more about how we could destroy anyone who stood in our way.

Don’t like it? Too bad. If you speak out against the new Monarchy, Bush will have you silenced. There is no way for us to fight back.

Now, let’s say France has mercy on us. They get help from other countries, and invade our country through Canada. They take control of the major cities, and take Bush and his cronies out of power. They put Bush in front of a world court, where he is found guilty of war crimes and put to death.

Would you be happy with France, or would you be upset at them for invading our country? You would probably feel pretty grateful, right? Well how do you think the people in Iraq feel?
