If you picked up a math book and it said 2+3=5 on page 23 and that 2+3=14 on page 53, and then found dozens of other contradictions, what good is it to you? Would you use the info to build a bridge with?
Here's just a few I have from the bible;
-God sent his prophet to threaten David with how many years of famine? (a) Seven (2 Samuel 24:13). (b) Three (1 Chronicles 21:12)
-When did David bring the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem? Before defeating the Philistines or after? (a) After (2 Samuel 5 and 6). (b) Before (1 Chronicles 13 and 14).
-Who was the father of Joseph, husband of Mary? (a) Jacob (Matthew 1:16). (b) Heli (Luke 3:23).
-Jesus descended from which son of David? (a) Solomon (Matthew 1:6). (b) Nathan (Luke 3:31).
-How did Simon Peter find out that Jesus was the Christ? (a) By a revelation from heaven (Matthew16:17). (b) His brother Andrew told him (John 1:41).

It's a given that the Republican Party has aligned itself with Christian values and yet what this party represents is quite the opposite of Christ's teaching. This is a well worn subject, but still remains a mystery to me. Christ talked about taking care of the poor and yet Republican Party represents sort of an every-man-for-himself philosophy. Socialized health care is scoffed at. Capital punishment is heralded as an deterrent, war is an acceptable answer and vast amounts of wealth in the hands of a few is not seen as no fault of the wealthy but rather a reflection on what can do when one is not "lazy." So much for being your brother's keeper. And what magnitizes the religious right to this party seems to be the issue of abortion. How is it that the Rebublican Party can get away with being so un-Christian in so many obvious ways and yet it retains so many supposedly Christian followers based on this one issue? Looking for an intellegent answer without beligerant name-calling.

I have used many online translators with many different results and when re-translating the word back to English it gives me some other word, the only one that I've found thats been translated about 50% of the time is "Wimmern".

It took me forever to get the barrel clean. Is this normal? Will it get better as the rifle gets used? I used 2 packs of wipes and it kept coming out black. It did get better as it went, but there was still some black visible. Thanks for any help.

I just got a female betta from Walmart. She has not eaten in the 5 days that I have had her. I have tried freeze dried and flake food. She nibbled slightly on the freeze dried but not the flake and only spit out the freeze dried.

She has a grayish white strip down her head and has been lingering at the top of the water. The problem is that I think she's been sick since I've had her so I don't know normal coloring for her. I just gave her ick cure 2 days ago and she is now darting around the enclosure. I put her in an open bag in the tank so the water temperature could be regulated and so she would not infect the other fish. I have a male betta in the tank. She has vertical "mating" stripes on her sides now and is doing nose dives at the bottom of the bag trying to get out I think.

Should I be patient and wait for the medication to work or should I start freaking out and try a different medication?

Does anyone know anything else that could be wrong except for ick?

In science right now we are doing biology. We went to a forest and we had to take pictures of various plants and identify them. Unfortunately, i cant find these species, or, i don't know exactly how to find what they are called.
