I have a small skin tag at the base of my penis. Its not a mole or a wart, its just a small tag of skin. Anyone know what this is?

There is actually a condition called 'skin tag' and it sounds like that is what you have. It shouldn't be painful or different colored, and is easily removed.

If it is just a small, soft tag of skin of a color similar to the surrounding skin, I would not worry about it. Sometimes these things are just left over after a tiny pimple heals. If you are concerned, show it to a doctor.

In all likelihood it is exactly as you described; a skin tag. It should not be a problem, but continue to monitor it for changes. If it doesn't change then it is not problematic. If it does change, see your doctor. Skin tags can be found pretty much anywhere on the body, and are nothing to be concerned about unless they cause you problems, such as for women, catching on bra straps, or on the wrist being irritated by a watch band. It is seldom necessary to remove them.

I would suggest if it bothers you and it must be or you wouldn't ask a question regarding it, to go ask a doctor. It may be nothing of importance and merely a skin tag, the doctor would know and sees a lot worse, everyday, I'm sure!!

Have it checked out by a doctor to put your mind at ease!! When in doubt, check it out!!

Good luck!! : )

Maybe the skin tag is your penis and what you believe to be your penis is a skin tag!!!

Dear, if it has been there forever, it's ok. But if you feel weird about it, you can get it removed easily. Consult either an andrologist/urologist surgeon. Goodluck!

Maybe you should go to a doctor to see if it's a tumor.
