How is it possible to read this and not come to the conclusion that Jesus was either 1) the Living God of the Old Testament or 2) completely insane? If Jesus were completely insane why would the Pharisees have condemned Him to death?

change the schedule at the last minute (tells a person on sunday night that they have to come in monday morning instead of afternoon or calls in the afternoon trying to make you work the next day (which you are off)? Why is that the employees have to follow the schedule but the boss doesn't have to and expects me to just keep changing my plans to fill in for the employees that call in or to help my coworker because they took on a project and promised it in an unrealistic time and expect me to come in a work my butt off to help them. They just called me but I missed the call and I know that when I go in today (early because they changed my schedule) that they are going to try to take my days off but I have plans for both days and an important appointment that I was lucky to be able to reschedule after having to cancel at the last minute because of the first work schedule change. Should I just tell them that I have plans for the next 2 days or what?

What percentage of mom's breastfeed? Formula feed?
not including the 70 % who attempt to breastfeed @ birth but how many are actually successful up to atleast 2 months because most mom's I know are formula feeding by then after breastfeeding while they were on maternity leave.
This is not a debate over which is better.

I deal with a lot of “mental” impaired individuals. I have to read through a lot of medical records everyday such as: psychological reports, treatment notes, etc. After I read what the patient has stated what his/her problems were, the doctor gives an assessment or impression of what is wrong with this patient.

Where I am going with this is at times the patient may say he or she feels this way or did this and I have done the same thing. For instance, one patient gets angry easily. I sometimes do that myself. I feel maybe I should see a psychiatrist myself or maybe see if there is something mentally wrong with me. I know I am not crazy, I am in my right state of mind. It’s just that I had a hard life and I am starting to realize, that my past has affected my present. I am very OCD about my house. I get mad at my boyfriend when he doesn’t help me clean. When I do all the cleaning and he just sits there, I get angry inside. I sometimes start yelling over stupid, petty, crap. I don’t realize it either. I will continue to build things in my head and when the smallest problem arises, I get mad. I want to learn to try to keep calm on things. I don’t get angry everyday or anything like that. It may happen once a week. I just feel like I am doing everything on my own and sometimes I feel that no one truly cares about me. I know this isn’t true but it is the way I feel at times. Does this happen to anyone else on here? Why do I feel I have to have such a clean house? To tell you about my mom, which is the only reason I can explain it, she made us clean as children. We had to do everything on our own. She would leave us outside all day, hit us and she did do drugs. When she did let us inside we had to clean, a lot. I am guessing that is the only reason? I just wish I could calm down about it. I don’t want to get mad easily.

Please don't respond about being for or against the war. This question is, do you feel that it is even possible to understand what its like to live in a war-torn country? Most of us remember the emotions of 9/11- shock, grief, frustration, disruption, loss, pessimism, fear. Can you imagine dealing with it every day?

Even in 'minor' wars such as Korea, 4,000,000 people died and 1/3 of all houses were destroyed. Neither side gained anything more than a few acres. Living in a first-world country, is it even possible to grasp the scope of a war on your soil? Here's hoping we never have to.

Thank you for thinking.

Well, fellow Republicans, Bush won. He called Congress' bluff. They said they would not pass a bill unless it had a withdrawal date, and Bush didn't flinch.
He knew that funding the troops is more important than telling our enemy our plans.
He knew that anyone in Congress who would keep funding from the troops, for any reason, would have committed political suicide. Don't get me wrong, he would be committing political suicide as well, but he is done with politics in the next two years. The members of Congress are not.

This was the final showdown. Bush reached for his sidearm, and Pelosi flinched. She showed that getting re-elected was more important that doing what they put her there for. Remember, she was put there to end the war, correct?

But no matter who lost, the troops won. They got their funding.
Plus, it has a warning, albeit non-binding, that Baghdad needs to get their act together if they want the money.

So, did we win?

"Slavory was a fake"
yes, it has just been brought to your attention that blacks have been using the slavery card on you for the past hundred years and slavery didn't even exist.

How do you feel about this?

The attacks on Al Gore, Michael Moore and other Democrats intensify, but they are all personal. Why do the current Republicans shoot the messengers rather than focus on the actual issues?

Gore's use of energy fighting excessive energy use does not affect the validity of his argument, nor is it relevant that Michael Moore might have interviewed people he chose not to include in his films. Bias does not invalidate an argument.

If anybody out there wants to address the actual issues these men are raising, how about doing it? The moderates out here already know who hates who; we are just trying to find out who we believe.

OK.. so I presume most of us are bored, otherwise we wouldn't be on here, right?!

So to make things a bit interesting, here is a competition.

I want you (if you can be bothered) to give me a completely random sentence, literally the first thing that pops into your head.

It doesn't have to make sense, in fact it might even be better (and funnier) if it doesn't. The more random and bizarre the better.

10 points for the most amusing one!
