I am not currently on birth control pills, I am going on vacation in a few days and am going to get my period in a few days. I reallllllly dont want to get my period on my trip and my friend gave me a pack of YAZ. i have been on yasmin previously without any complications. Can i start the pack now and prevent my period from coming or can i let my period happen for 2 days and then take the pill and continue for the rest of the month? is it safe?

We have all been told by the landlord to vacate our unit obviously durring this fumigation process. He has stated in a written notice that we will be compensated a rediculously small amount of money to stay at a "friends house" or a hotel for two nights. He continues to say that we can deduct this from our rent. First, because of the area, and time of year (beach community) being "high season" the amount offered would not cover a comperable hotel room for even one night. I also work from home and my work includes international hours that can run any of the 24 hour day. He is aware of this.
Frankly I am insulted.
In light of the tremendous inconvience to all of us tennants, his letter concludes with a statement reminding us of the tremendous cost this process comes to him. I call it the cost of doing business. Is there a specific ratio of rent that is appropriate in this case to put us up in a hotel? Something legal? Never mind that I find the whole idea just discusting. Thanks

our accountant is struggling to give me a direct yes/no answer to my question whether I am or am not entitled to receive my (unused) holiday pay (I have worked for the company for 5 months and have not used my holiday). Accountant said he has to check laws on this one! gosh! I am sure this is not the 1st case of employment termination in the history of company, so does this mean none ever asked them the right questions?? I dont want to be fooled. it`s not the matter of money, it`s the matter of the company being unfair! wat do i do? what legislation acts i can quote to make them reconsider their policy???

I have irregular periods but always have one atleast every 15-28 days. I was last on my period on the 24th of April which was 30 days ago but i still havent yet come on. I have also expierenced tender heavy breast for the past week and 1/2. I have now done 2 pregnency tests one 5 days ago and one yesterday. They both showed negative. Could i still be pregnent? If so y did the test show negative?

I am going to make my first (new) car purchase soon, and I am very excited. I know there's a destination fee that is unavoidable with a new car but will I get charged more if I ask a dealer to bring in a particular color I want? The color of the car isn't going to make or break the fact that I am going to get a new one, I just want to know if it's worth it since it's a big purchase... Shouldn't I get exactly what I want??

I have 5 new guppies and 1 little catfish in my tank and used to clean my previous fish out weekly with a 20% water change with the gravel cleaner and not take the fish out of the tank. My old fish were just normal goldfish so they were always ok but my guppies and catfish are tiny and dont want to stress them out. Would you take the fish out and clean the tank or leave them in???

Now, one of my two best friends is a hypochondriac. Although I love being with her and being her friend, her hypochondriasness (sp??) is starting to bug me. Numerous trips to the doctor, (at least once a week). Always claiming shes got a cold, or she pulled a muscle, or slipped over. Well, a month or so ago it got onto broken bones.
Last yeah, she went over her ankle while stepping of the bus. After many missed periods of school, cat scans and MRI's it tunred out she chipped the end of a bone and it had healed awkwardly. I have broken my arm 3 times myself and I know what its like. I've just spent the last 2 weeks listening to her talking about how she wants surgery and she said she'll feel "in" if she gets it. And yesterday she found out she needed surgury. Everyone at school is all "OMG ----- broke her ankle" and damn she's loving the attention. I really think I have to say something, please give me yours opinions because im just reaching my limit with this bullshit.
