My Parents and I am 41, They have earned that right by being there for me and not judging the actions that needed to be taken. For that they have my respect.

I think anyone who is an honest person, true to themselves and tries to be the best person they can be is worth respecting. Shady, sneaky, liars or cheaters get no respect from me. They get what they deserve.
Also you have to give respect to get it in return.

You have to respect to be respected. Anyone that has not disrespected my family or me. Anyone who does not hurt people and get pleasure from it.

I respect my husband...he is a wonderful man. I respect my mother and step dad, my grandmothers(now deceased), my mother and father in law,and always the elderly. Great question!
