A friend of mine is a Jehovah's Witness and we discuss this a lot. Though I'm not a JW myself (I was raised Baptist), I have never really subscribed to Jesus as being God, but rather taking Jesus at what He said: that is, His being the Son of God, which He constantly states in the Gospels. What do the Messianic's believe? Thanks:-)

With the ban on public smoking, and the news that it's hit the pubs in scotland and ireland hard, we can expect the UK in it's entirety to see an overall downturn in smoking and drinking.

Now,much as I like the thought of a smoke free nation (except at wedding when a Cigar's not optional!) does this mean there's gonna be a huge chunk of tax missing?

Is the government gonna find this missing tax by screwing it out of us tax payers in other means?

Why is it that religious people think it is ok to tell people their veiws on religion And what they think we should believe in but if a non religious person trys to explain why they arnt religious and dont believe in god to a religious person its apparently offensive!!!
We have you in our faces knocking on our doors trying to convert us but we are mean and disrespectfull if we tell you our opinion, I think its rude and disrespectfull for these people to keep trying to convert people and knocking on our doors continuosly after we tell them we dont not to!!!

I am getting married in june next year have my dress already its a small size 12 i am not fat i am a curvy size 10 and weigh 8st i just have a little bit of extra fat on my tummy from having my baby. i dont want to go on a diet because i struggle to keep weight on but i am always hungary i dont like fruit or much veg but the skirt of my wedding dress is tight at the moment i want to tone up my stomach i am walking and running at the moment because i am training to do the race for life for cancer in june but is this enough? has anybody got any tips on how to eat healthly? and exercises to tone up my stomach and legs in a fun way that doesnt cost alot of money?

Is there a better adapter / antenna that will give me a stronger signal and faster speed without moving closer to the access point? is the pci card adapter better then the usb adapter? would a antenna hooked up to a pci card adapter do better then my Belkin? please, I need help with buying the right stuff.

This is not a trick question, I promise you. I'm not going to critisise ANY answer. I may, however, ask for clarification, on an answer. The only thing I ask is please do not answer with, "That couldnt happen". I dont believe anyone could possible know that. I'd rather you not answer at all, than to post that one. Here is the Question:

If next week the Watchtower was to change to one of the 3 doctrines listed below, what would be your response?

1) ALL JW's now get to go to Heaven
2) Its now OK to serve in the Armed Forces
3) Hell DOES exist for all non-JW's

Would you reject this? And if so, what would be the concequenses? Disfellowship?

Would you accept this? And if so, how would you process all of the Scripture Proofs that was used to support the former view?

ALL answers are welcome. Except of course the "it wouldnt happen" one.
We all know its hypothetical. But some teachings have changed in the past. So, it is possible. (I at least think so).
