I see all these criticisms of Carter for the hostage taking at the American embassy in Teheran during his administration. What do you think Bush would have done? Would he have been all macho and attacked thereby causing the death of them? Hey at least he could still pretend to be a cowboy.

I don't think the hostages would have gotten out alive. With Bush's reckless my way or the highway attitude he would have either gotten them killed or killed them himself when the bombs dropped.

Do you remember IRAN-CONTRA? Ronnie's 'boys 'went to IRAN and SOLD them our missiles of mass destruction ! In return they terrorists were supposed to hold the hostages until Reagan became pres. ! Our taxes paid for the missiles ! In fact ,ISRAEL helped with the actual transfer. That crime was the first of many committed by the creeps in the Reagan admin. ! Ollie North was responsible for the cocaine epidemic with the flights to Honduras to supply the contras with the money from the missile sales. it just gets weirder and weirder ! I shudder to think what' W 'would do !
