Well i knew she didnt like me drinking but she didint forced me. but as our relationship is progressing i wanted to give up. Now i feel the urge, what to do? Did i do the right thing or drinking little dont hurt?

Drinking around 5 cans a day (beer), everyday.

Its 3.00 am here in London and still awake talking to you guys.

i was just curious about something compleatly random.

i was talking to my cousin on msn messenger and we started talking about nightmares. then i started thinking about how its a compound word and all, and i wondered what the mare in nightmare means. i know that a mare is like a horse or something. does that maybe have anything to do with it?

Me and my boyfriend been together for several years now. My boyfriend had another child by another woman. He is five years old now. Due to the differences my boyfriend had with his son's mother, he decided that the son come and move with me and him (in which he didn't sit down with me to discuss). I love his son very much and his son likes me a lot. The son is having trouble in school(for example: not following directions, not listening to the teacher, not doing his work, kicking, cursing in class sometimes). His mother picks him up only on the weekends. She could care less on his behavior in school. She knows about his behavoir, but she is rather my boyfriend to go up to the school to talk to his teacher. I tried everything that I could about his behavoir. My boyfriend tries to discipline him, but it only works for that moment in time. I am with the son most of the time. He is a handful. I feel that I do not have any help from my boyfriend or his mother. They both want me to be mom.

Are people inherently good, or evil? (Or something else, like greedy, or self-interested?)

Is love/joy/(some other positive emotion) the "greatest common denominator" in humanity? Or is pain/suffering/despair the great unifier of our human existance? (*Yes, I've seen I Heart Huckabees & What the Bleep and I LOVE both of them!)

The Bible (and many other non-Christian spiritual guides) expresses the idea that both joy and suffering are divine. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? It sure doesn't feel like it!

i am a healhty perfectely fit 15 year old.
i m 5.5 (yes i am short) 120Lbs.
should i start lifting weight> or should i stick to the exercise such as push ups?
and can some one tell me what a average 15 yearold can lift.
by lift i mean bench, amount pull ups they can do?

If there are so many people who support the current administration and their "War on Terror" in Iraq - then why is it that military recruiters are struggling to get people to join. Where have all the Pat Tillmans gone?
I am in the military, and I see a lot of arm chair quarterbacks who say they support this war, and I see a lot less who have stepped up to the plate. Why is that? My life is on the line - and where are you?
