weight-lifting and strength-training is fine for anyone at any age as long as you know your limits and dont strain urself to the point of serious injury. i would suggest having a trained professional teach you the ropes before going it alone. its always best to have someone there to spot u. weight-lifting will quickly get you into good shape and looking buff, but i advise balancing it out with cardio too, like jogging and running or cycling. as anyone with half a brain will tell you, get your doctors approval FIRST before embarking on a regular routine of working out. you might save yourself time, grief, money, and PAIN. its better to be safe than sorry. good luck!

I wouldn't over do it because it can cause damage to your growth and bones and cause problems for you later on. The best thing to do is use them but not over do it Then you are benefitting but not pushing your body too much When you fill out and spot growing you should increase the level of weight training Best thing to do would be to get a doctors opinion They can tell you the potenital problems Either that or go to the gym and ask someone there

no, at 15 weightlifting will not affect your growth. I think the average 15 year old can lift about 135 to 145, but it all depends on their weight and how long they have been working out.

most definitly you can!!!! Its not going to stunt your growth or anything like that. And remember you are still growing, you just haven't hit your growth spirt yet, you can still grow into your early 20s, don't worry, it will all work out okay. And there really isn't an adverage. I depends on how athletic and how big you are. Some one smaller like you, isn't going to be able to lift as much as a bigger person ould be able to lift. Be you and nothing else and trust me, you'll have girls all over you. Take it from you're almost 15 year old girl. (besides muscles to big tend to either gross us out or intimidate us). Happy Lifting :)

I don't see any reason why you could'nt start lifting. If you are perfectly healthy like you said then it should be okay. If you have a coach or somebody at school then I would talk to them on as how much you should start out at. I would start out small. Be safe.

You can start lifting but start out slowly.
Of course, talk to your doctor before beginning just to be sure it's ok.
Here's a great article to read with lots of info and tips!
