Yes. Happened to me just 2 months ago. Prior to actually experiencing it, I would have said no. So don't listen to any answers here that are from people that haven't experienced it. I found it to have the same emotions, misunderstandings, jealousies, tenderness, love, anger, absolutely everything a real life relationship has. And if you are fortunate enough to be able to turn it into a real life relationship, I totally envy you.

Well, what is the com'ctn about? Is it a platonic thing or not? Are there underlying motives? Could there be a insinuation of wrong doing there? Is a total and complete moral inventory necessary here? Maybe looking at motives and checking the kind of communications going on would be in order. It is possible to be just friends with a person. As far as I'm concerned, the only time that would work is if you already know the person in real life. Online contact only is no relationship, only illusion.

i think that it could be but then there would be very limited interaction but it would be a good start for just getting to know the person and starting one.
