What do you think makes up spike lee's cinematographic (filiming/editing) style? Examples from his movies would be a big help! Thanks in advance.

I'm a Christian from the US who moved to Canada and married a great guy with great parents, but being from the south where church is the norm, I'm sort of shocked at the lack of religion in Canada, or at least around here. There are a few churches here but Christianity doesnt seem to be emphasized here at all. My new husband and his parents are wonderful people but have never once attended church in their lives and know nothing about it. I talked with them a bit about it and they're willing to go to church with me to see what its about and seem really open to the idea. I dont think that its that they were ever resistant to the idea; it just never came up.

I admit I have never read the Bible from cover to cover myself and I want to expose them to it, so I'm looking for a Bible that's easy to read-more like adult bible stories so that they dont immediately lose interest with all the "begats, thous" and ancient phrasing. Suggestions?

I also thought about renting "Left Behind."

That E10 crap is WAY less efficient and costs a lot more than biodiesels....
And remember when CNG (propane) was supposed to save the world (even though it's carbon dioxide emisssions were much, much higher than traditional gasoline)?
Biodiesel and fuel cell technology have been available and affordable for decades!!
What the hell is wrong with us???!!

we just broke up 2 hours ago...and i dont know what to do...she broke up with me because i had a fight with her sister and her parents is now angry..yup! youre right! The reason I ask this is I see a large number of self-professed Christians spewing nothing but hatred, vitrol, and bigotry all week long and then going to Church on Sunday to "be forgiven". Is it not better to not need to ask to be forgiven for your long list of sins? Is it not better to attempt to live a "Christ-like" life?

I just heard on ESPN Radio, They found over 60 Pitbulls at his rented home,the pitbulls some of them were bitten up from the dog fights,they also found a bloody pit,where they did fight! Im sure most of you have heard these details about this already!
Now, Vick says he knows nothing about this! The 2 guys who are his cousins,that live in the house,don't share Vicks last name! But these 2 guys run a legit dog service called Vick's Kennels! Vick is saying he knows nothing about this! The funny part about all this is,These 2 guys in Vick's rented home are on welfare! Little hard to feed over 60 pitbulls on a welfare check! Don't you think?,So Vick must be throwing a little cash into help out with the funding!!! Whats your views on all of this?

It starts somewhere near rated rpm and dies. brushes? Burnt armeture? How do I tell which? It is clean not all that old and originally from a 1" belt sander. Anybody know a good website that can teach me about tool motor diagnosis and repair? It's a very nice little motor and I want to fix it.

I have learned ALOT from yahoo answers. With everyone's help, I was able to go from knowing nothing to designing and installing my own system. Now I want to know more.

Actually they are EVERYWHERE !! I am from Puerto Rico, a tropical island, so I guess it's normal, but...

Changing the rubbish collection from once a week to TWO in the name of RECYCLING? they must really think that we're all mugs! And if dropping a QUAVER is going to cost us £80 in future this is not a country I want to live in!
