The Michigan Bulb Company is great for perrenials but they don't carry most of the flowers that are considered annuals for my area (zone 6). Are there any great online flower/plant guides out there? Or even an online store that carries annuals I can use for browsing?

Just doing the math for my daughter's first 4 years of higher education and thinking... WOW, how are we going to do this? We haven't even been able to buy a house yet! Not looking for smart @$$ remarks, just sympathy I guess... or real offers (I know, yeah right) I am looking into scholarships, etc. My main problem is that we are in the lower end of what is still considered middle income and it astounds me what they think we can or should be able to afford. They don't take into account all of a family's other expenses! I don't think these amounts have been adjusted for cost of living in quite some time (gas and grocery increases?!) Saving money has not been an option since we already live by the skin of our teeth to stay in the school district we live in which we think is important. Real words of advice or encouragement? Our oldest has an A/B average. Not the top of the class, but ok.

I submitted a letter of intent on a house that I want to purchase in Maryland.. the letter was signed and we went forward to sign the MAR agreement for closing. Today we were supposed to close and the seller said they are going to consider a higher offer... Can I do anything because they did sign the letter of intent with our offer..

Sure, they pay payroll taxes . But at the same time they claim like 25 dependents on the form so they are basically working for cash.
If a regular American did that then he would owe huge in back taxes, but not them. They just find another soicail security number to steal and start over. There are so many at my old job that did that, they brought home checks bigger than the management then quit at tax time and moved on.
But when it comes to giving them full benefits, schooling and public services, they want and demand the best from us . Although I'm sure this is falling on deaf ears with most ... the liberals on here are usually still in jr. High who have never had a job .
