I need some help on potty trainng my 2 year old son, he has just turned 2 ...I tried to prep him early by just doing little things , around 18 monhs old , when changing his diaper i would verbaly tell him what each diaper had in to let him reconize what he was doing in the diaper , for example if he peed i would say "pee pee " you went pee pee " if he pooped i would tell him "poopoo" you went poo poo ..I even let him watch me go pee before to help understand what the big toilet was for ,I tried yesterday to put him on the big toilette and he was fearful of it and cried , so i bought him a kiddy potty cahit and put it in the bath room , when i have to go to the bathroom , i say mommy has to go potty lets go potty , i sit on the toilette so he can watch me , then i put him on his mini potty chair and he will NOT go in it...He then walks around the hoosue clapping his hands saying eww gross peepoo, but when i check him he is clean , and when i put him on his potty chair he still wont go

My husband and I picked out the name Addison if we have a girl. So far no one has brought in up but we realized that my nieces name is Madison and we all call her Madie. We don't plan on shortening Addison, so does anyone think its a big deal if we name her a name that similar to another child in the family? We have told everyone the name we picked out and nobody has brought it up. I just realized it the other day and its been bugging me.

My wedding is 5 1/2 months away. We are running out of money very quickly and running out of time. We do have a deposit on a hall and DJ but thats it and I really dont see where the money is going to come from. Would it be bad to just do a church wedding and serve cake and punch their then go to someones house just to have a after party? Bad idea?

I like sex more than my husband he use to all the time want it now it is like work for him and i try any & every thing to spice up our marriage I mean what man wouldn't like a wife that will have sex when ever he wanted it I don't understand and I know it is not age he is not old we have been together 8 years im 23 he is 26 but i know a guy that is 33 married as long as us and he complains he dont get it enough what is it with people it seems like i guess the oppisit does attract

He usually sleeps for a 4-5 hour period (sometimes a little longer) then he wakes and sometimes I can pat his butt and get him back to sleep for another hour or so. More often though he ends up crying and I give him a bottle and back to sleep he goes for another 3-4 hours. He won't seem to eat more than 4-5 oz at a time unless he is really hungry and MIGHT eat 6. The pediatrician stated at his visit on Monday that at this age he should be able to go 6-7 hours at one time at night without eating and to try to wean him from his night feeding. Any ideas on how to do that?

My ex has title of "primary household" over our son even though we have joint custody...my ex has a history of domestic violence against me, which is why I divorced him , and now he has had an altercation with his stepfather, in which physical violence is involved. He was living with his mother and his stepfather with our son. My son is otherwise loved, but I fear for his mental health. My ex moved out and is living with his on-again-off-again girlfriend. His previous girlfriend was on-again-off-again as well, which he moved out of her house at least three times, with my son. This is an unstable environment for my son, and my ex has always been controlling, manipulative, etc, which is the ONLY reason he has primary household..I have tried several times to get primary custody, but the court systems suck nowadays, and they want CONCRETE PROOF that there is a BIG reason to change the way the custody arrangement is now. .Any lawyers in the house or anyone who has an opinion?

A friend's two cats are Maine Coone brothers from the same litter and they have always lived together. On friday one was hit by a car and had to spend three days in hospital having his leg dealt with. He has to be confined to one room to stop infection but the other cat obviously cannot be as it needs to go out to toilet etc. The well brother has taken a dislike to the ill cat since his return from the vets. He hisses and tries to attack his brother. The ill brother still tries to greet his sibling in an affectionate way.
What do you think might be causing it, we have thought maybe that he smells different, the well cat has got used to being an only cat even though his brother was only gone for three days or that he doesn't recognise him? Any help and ways of solving this problem would be greatfully recieved.

There are alot of claims from people that say "There is not proof of Evolution." People say that because they've heard it, and it sounds good. So, I'll ask you now, would you like to see the proof with your own eyes? If you saw it, would you believe. I'll post some things in a few minutes when I get a feel for the responses. But honestly, if there was proof, incontrovertable proof, would you still say there was none? I'm not trying to be patronizing, I just want to get a feel for this.
