Try Google Adsense (these are the ones you see all over the place) for sponsored link type ads.

Also, a good idea is to use a commission-based merchant affiliate, such as LinkShare or Commission Junction. These are advertisements that are linked to your account that you can put on your website (for example, American Eagle Outfitters) and if someone clicks on the banner and purchases something from that merchant, you get a commission from the purchase. So if they buy $100 worth of stuff, you might get $5 in commission. The commissions vary from merchant to merchant, but if you're expecting your site to be as popular as you say, those $5 commissions will add up quickly!

looks excited with ideas. that is good. to succeed online you need strong desire and know how to recognize scam. if you don't have those two you will be quiting like 95% who had try online biz. do you know why they quit. because they wasted their time and money into every systems they think can make them rich quick or earn money while doing only tiny mini little work and that lead to low moral and mental tiredness. so i suggest you download free resources and learn. figure out why there is so much scam. check out below resources for more info and resources.

you start by posting in computers and internet not program and design.

second. you can sell items (aka merchandise) or you can sell add space. yahoo ads is nice because it's content specific to your site and it's a big name one. google ads again a nice one. step numero uno though....get your web page up and worthwhile. no point in worrying about selling ad space when no one is comeing to visit your page
