I was born in an english speaking environment. My parents never spoke to my siblings& me in our native language. Then we had to go back home and I cant get along with my peers over here because I'm different. I seem odd to them. Its been 3 years and I still cant speak it because I'm so tense about it. I am in the process of closing on a home. I was lucky enough to buy it for 20,000 dollars less than its appraised value. My problem is that I am being told that I have to pay the taxes based on the appraised value (rather than the amount I actually paid for it) for the remainder of this year (2007), and that I am not able to refute them to have them lowered, till next year. Is this correct? Another source also told me that I have to file the paperwork to refute the taxes by May 30th of this year or I will be unable to have them lowered at all next year, (2008). Can anyone give some clarification on this process?

i got new video card. i installed it in pc but when i turn pc on, nothing comes up but black. the it says,' phoenix industries ltd' but the computer doesnt boot up. why does this happen? is it conflicting with video card there already(that came built-in to the pc)? how can i fix this?

It doesnt seem any different to me than wearin a small guillitene or noose as jewelry. I get the whole Jesus died deal. What about the thousands who have been killed in the name of Jesus over time, by worse devices than the cross. This not to upset. I see people get nuts over pentagrams, which are not evil, so save the resons why, im not asking why things are evil or good, i just wonder if any one sees the morbid act that it seems to me to be.

They don't laugh at anything. I feel sorry for them. In case anyone pays attention to my questions (I know you're out there) I feel much compassion for them (the liberals, that is). I think maybe we ought to have a telethon for them or something. We'll call it The telethon for the sense of humor impaired. Yeah it's wordy but I like it.

I went to mininova and clicked on a dvd rip of 300 (I'm going to use a ripped copy until it comes out, then I will buy it). I found a download manager thing called "GetRight" and it started downloading, but it won't go past 0%. It says like .6MB done, then it goes back to 0. I have never downloaded anything like this. So can someone please help.

I heard people say this for years. It seems the ones who have tried to "legally" not pay, have been spanked, sometimes quite harshly. I can't find any evidence to support this "illegality", but I am certainly no authority.
Is it just that in this country the crackpots have a right to speak, as well?
