Any abnormal swelling about the anus has a good chance of being a hemorrhoid. The cause is a blood clot in one of the veins in that area. A possible treatment is to take a fair amount of aspirin; aspirin is known for its anti-clotting properties and may help the swelling go away. Use the maximum recommended dose on the bottle.

A hemorrhoid is an inflamed blood vessel that usually protrudes from the rectum, and hurts like heck! Hot sitz baths and suppositories help. Also avoid constipation.

If you have blood in your stool, you feel burning in your a s s, or it becomes painful when you poop, you may have hemorroids. There are over the counter medications (Preparation-H, Tucks, etc) you can buy to alleviate the symptoms.

Actually, I have to thank you. I was somewhat startled to see this question but it gave me a good chuckle.

Not that I'm taking amusement in your pain. I hope you're not offended.
