Where can I go to get truthful, unbiased information on news, social issues, international relations, business, etc...?

Laptop is just over a year old and has recently began shutting down at random. Running Windows XP Home. No restarts, no windows shut down process, just turning off. No hardware changes.

AVG Anti-Virus runs at start up and updates daily. Firewall in place and behind router. Windows Defender runs in background, I also run Spybot, Ad-Aware, and Spyware Blaster monthly. I booted with Ultimate Boot CD 4.10 and ran the included anti-virus apps and was clean.

I can run in safe mode all day long with no shut down, either in the Admin profile or the main profile. I created a limited profile to see if it could be a setting in the main profile, but same problem happened in new profile.

There are only 8 processes running on start up, per msconfig, and all are known.

I can't even decide if it is a hardware or software problem. I thought hardware, but then why no issue in safe mode? What other tools can I use to find the issue? Anyone had a similar problem? Help!!

I found this interesting article about a claim that Coca-Cola is still using the coca leave as an ingredient - for flavoring purposes (of course), There apperantly is a loop hole that allows contries to legally import coca leaves, Only one company in the US does so, this company is said to be a business partner of Coca-Cola.

Is it preferable to use either iodized or uniodized salt for my tank of shark catfish? They are 5 inches long. I jus got them. Or is there any specific type of salt i should use? I have 3 kids and another on the way. Our rule for spankings is if what they are doing will HURT them they get a spanking.. I.E. running in the street, jumping on the bed, etc. Well on Saturday hubby and I had to go to the hospital and his father and step mom took our kids. My son (4) was acting up and wouldn't walk over to his grandpa. They were indoors and he was sitting on the couch. So.. my father in law spanked him. I am pissed!!!! How would you feel? and Yes his dad knows how we discipline our kids since they live across the street from us. Thanks

At this ponit the questions isn't whether or not it's a choice, the question is how much is caused by genetics, and how much is caused by environment. Most DATA shows that it is caused primarily by genetics with a secondary factor of environment. But in both cases the gayness of a person is determined long before they are conscious of the fact that they are gay/straight and that determination is PERMANENT.

People are always sayng Christians are dumb for never questioning their faith. Well, im a Christian and I question my faith all the time (and it ends up srtonger every time).

You might not like calling your beliefs "faith", still, do you question them from time to time? Do you search information regarding some other line of thought?
