Al Sharpton - the self proclaimed savior of those who are victims of prejudice, has finally revealed to us his true feelings about other races and religions when he proclaimed that Muslims do not worship the "real" God. Where are all the people who showed up to protest Don Imus and the Duke Lacrosse players (who were innocent, incase the media forgot to let you in on that too.)

The parties and the hookers are fun but there has to be more to life than that, right?

A couple days ago I ate some questionable grapes... about 40 minutes later when I got into my hot car I got this intense urge to vomit so i pulled over before I got out of the driveway and I threw up the grapes... i thought it was just bad grapes.. but today I just ate a bowl of honey bunches of oats with 2% milk like i usually do and about 15 minutes later I get the same feeling and ran to the bathroom and threw up the cereal. Both times I felt the same, threw up just once, then felt fine. is this a stomach problem? i've never had stomach problems.... there is the possibility of pregnancy but I don't think this is what morning sickness is like. any ideas?

There is only one God or Creator if you will. Jesus was in fact a man who died and no longer exists. I hate to burst bubble out there and if you insist on living in denial that is your choice. But don't insult God by saying Jesus is like God or a part of him this is just plain wrong people.

I live with my fiancee and MY 3 kids, and he has set some house rules for my children to live by. His rules are much more rigid than my parents rules were for us growing up, and even more strict than the rules I had set in place for my kids before I met him. They are having trouble adjusting to this kind of lifestyle. What do you think, too harsh? These are only SOME of the rules we have to live by, there are a lot more, believe me:
*No shoes worn in the house
*Kids are not allowed on the ADULTS couch
*No eating anywhere except for at the kitchen table
*No toys allowed in living room
*If kids leave anything laying around, it gets taken
*If child breaks something whether on accident or on purpose, something valuable of theirs will be broken and tossed out
*Children are not allowed to use the ADULTS bathroom
*Children cannot come in the front door, must use side door
*If children are even 1 minute late coming home (must be IN the house by 4:00), they get grounded for a day.

One way to measure risk in the stock market is by use of the standard deviation of the return of a particular investment or group of investments. A lower standard deviation is considered to represent a lower risk. The stock market has many indices to measure its performance. One particular index is the S&P 500, an index that measures the performance of the 500 largest firms in America. From January 1, 1975 to December 31, 1999 this benchmark had a standard deviation of 13.26%. You believe that since 9/11 the risk associated with stock market investments has increased. The return on the S&P since 9/11 has been:

Year: Annual % Return
2000: -10.14
2001: -13.04
2002: -23.37
2003: 26.39
2004: 9.00
2005: 3.01

A senior monk and a junior monk saw a lady who scare of water so unable to cross the river. The senior monk offered to carry her cross it. After it done, the junior monk is wondering why he as a enlightened Buddhist breach the principle of no physical contact between monk and female. He kept brooding over it for days and at last he confronted his senior about it. The senior simply told him, I have already let go of her few days ago and yet, why are you still carrying her in your heart.

The story here is people carry hate, jealousy, anger etc all the negative feeling in their heart for way too long and unable to let go of it. What the senior monk did is an action but the junior monk carry it forever in his heart.

How many of you here can truly let go of hate, anger etc from your heart?

i've tried to talk to someone about this but, everytime i try to speak nothing comes out, i've thought about online counselling, but i dont have a credit card to pay for things online, and i cant speak face to face to anyone.

I noticed when I answered "who is the greatest living player" with either Willie Mays or Barry Bonds, I received 3 thumbs down, presumably for listing Bonds. So I was wondering, who do you think is the best player of my generation (Generation X)? This includes all players born between 1961 and 1981.

im young, in love and ready for it.
im soon to be 18 and have a strong (and also very modest) relationship with my boyfriend of 3 years now. He is 23 and his name is Hassan.
We have both made a vow of everlasting love for one another and promise our bodies, hearts and souls for each other (both of us are virgins). I plan to finish my schooling and achieve a degree so that i can become a prosecuting criminal attorney.
My question(s) are as follows:
1. Why do so many people mock me when i say that my relationship is strong?
2.I will get married when im older but people say that because im 18 i have no clue what love is. Why do older people judge so fast?
---
My boyfriends father died when he was 12 so he did not finish schooling so that he could help his mother and 2 siblings. My friends say that he is not good enough.

How can i make them see how perfect he is?
