Seems one common feature of religions is that they say we should somehow improve ourselves--to be more loving, more appreciative of life, of God, to pray more, to do more good works, to be more self-accepting (!).
Are there any that say, "You're fine, just the way you are."
I'm ready to stop trying to change. It doesn't work anyway.

I was hit by someone who ran a stop sign, it did alot of danmage to my car, it will be a few weeks before its fix, i want to know will there insurance co, pay for a car rental, they had libiblity insurance,,but also the person driving the car did not owne the car, it was loaned to her by the owner..

Hi, my girlfriend has been on the pill for over six months and prior to this date has had no abnormal symptoms that I know of. She has been taking it very effectively, not having missed it by more than an hour at most one per cycle. This month, however, she has gotten strange brown discharge, a lot of it one week before her period was supposed to come and it lasted for a day, and the next day was bleeding just like period blood - thick and red, like a period usually is when it starts. I have read that it may be because she is a longterm user of the pill and the hormone levels cause the uterus to errode over time, but I can't be sure.

I only have 3 weeks left to go & I'm anxious to make sure I get my licsense back on the day I can get it back! I have paid all of the necessary fines but I have not heard a word from DMV as to what I do on the day my suspension is over to restore my licsense & I don't see anything on the website pertaining to this. My brother died recently. I am a high school student who typically makes straight A's but now I just cannot focus on school at all. I have a great scholarship comming my way for college next year, but at this rate I am going to lose it. IN fact, I am supposed to be doing school work right now!

Does anyone have advice as far as how to get through the next few weeks of school, including finals without really screwing up my GPA. When college starts next year I am worried I will not be able to focus on that either.

My brother was really young, 19 and he graduated last year. He had a terminal illness and we have known all his life that he would die young (In case that helps you all understand the situation.)

I am not in the position to buy a house or townhome just yet, so I still have to rent. I was thinking perhaps it may be a better idea to rent a HOUSE instead of an apartment in an apartment complex, etc., because at least in a house, its "stand alone" and I wont have to worry about neighbors stomping on my head, hearing their noise or being subjected to their bad habits that may disturb other tenants.

ALSO, when I go out to have fun or have company over, or a nice young man to spend time with me, I have more peace, quiet & privacy in a HOUSE than an apartment, and I also would not be embarrassed to have company because I will not be around other tenants' "bad habits & nastiness".

Am I right? Or are there disadvantages to renting a house as opposed to renting an apartment, that I am not aware of?
