Music usually changes your mood. Put on your favorite album or find your favorite radio station and go listen to some music. It will get your mind off whatever is the matter, maybe only temporarily but it's the now that you want to feel good. Drinking will eventually become a habit that you can't shake, I binge and I know it will grow into a bigger problem if i don't deal directly with the issues I'm experiencing instead of drowning them away with liquor. And it's sad 'cause it's not even good liquor. =D Ok but on the serious note seriously stop and think about the issues at hand and tackle them. Try to resolve whatever's bothering you within yourself or talk to others. Most importantly it's good when you can deal with your problems within yourself it makes me feel I fought that battle by myself. Reassures you that you will always be there for you.
Again Music is good! Takes you away to a different place.

I go find something physical to do, like ride my mountain bike, or do some yardwork. After a while the sorrow goes away. I save beer time for when I'm in a good mood.

if depends where i am
at work i will just have to ignore everything and think about what time i'll be off duty go to the gym sweat it all out and go home and make myself nice dinner and than have a good nite sleep than call in sick,go to the movies and take a swim in the pool if it is not getting better i'll go clubbing
