Okay guys, July 2006 I was at a traffic light and got rear-ended, nothing was wrong at the time and I was late for school so I just said it was fine and we left. That weekend my back hurt so bad and I never had back problems before. There is a camera where the accident happened. I e-mailed a lawyer and told him about my situation. Do you guys think I am out of luck because I didn't get his info at the accident or do you think a lawyer will be able to pull the tape and sue him for my back injury? Thanks.

at least from Windows. How do I connect to this from Ubuntu Linux, and where do I find it once I have connected?
The shared folder has no password/security - any machine connected to my network can access it freely, so there's no complications with security.

My ex-gf and i were dating for 5 years, the last 1 1/2 became long distance bcs she moved back to her country and even though I wanted to marry her, i stalled. We continued going out, but apparently she starting hanging out with an old friend from college 6 months ago, and they got married 4 months later, she is now married 2 months.I had planned on marrying her, obviously I waited too long, and this kills me. However,I think this was a desperation marriage,I think she was obsessed with getting married, and thought I wouldnt ever do it.I just found out from her best friend that she did NOT invite any of her friends to this wedding. Family has money and wedding was big (many people), so that $$ was not problem.She wrote a email to her friends,said she didnt invite them because she didnt want ME to find out about the details of her wedding and ME get more upset. They were pissed off. Ladies, does this make sense? Was she embarassed? This is her wedding! And her friends not there?Why?

Let's assume for a silly moment that Creationism might actually be the truth.
I see this argument used all the time: "Look at the beauty of the stars, the sky, a baby's smile, it's proof that everything is created, so God exists".
Let's also assume for a silly moment that this argument actually makes sense.
So, creationism is real, and beauty proves, so God exists.
But, where exactly does God come into this story? If creationism is real, how do you know it was indeed God that did that? And not Zeus, or even an higher power we haven't even heard about yet?
You can quote books like the Bible, but the literal interpretation of the creation story is false, evolution clearly proves that.
So, how is creationism proof of God?

I have been so upset ever since Arrested Development got cancelled last year. Fox barely tried to save it (they put the final four episodes on a friday night when nobody really watches tv and people go out). He's 17 and he's very fashionable, he works in a fashion clothing shop, his colleagues on work nights out go to gay clubs, so he tags along with them.
Although, he hasn't got any gay mannerisms in the slightest!!. He has got quite a few female friends.
The sites he's been on are "gay chat" and images of gay guys!!!
Can you just assume from this that he's gay? what other signs are there to look out for? he's had one girlfriend a few yrs back, but hasn't had one since. Do you think that I should pass it as NORMAL and that he's probs just curious about the whole gay thing or should I talk to him? he'll probs deny it tho!!!

I have a room mate who needs a car for work and school. He is currently temporarily disabled, physically and will never return to his regular job. We live in PA. A friend in NJ has a vehicle (car) that her father is willing to 'give' as a charitable donation, and will need a legitimate receipt for tax purposes. Anyone know the easiest way to do this, legally?

I went to see two different gynecologists in same county but different cities within 1 month for EXACT SAME check-up/test(1st trimester pregnancy). Instead of charging the insurance the same or similar amount, one doctor charged $680 while the other doctor charged $130. Is one doctor defrauding the insurance or is this normal variance between different doctors? I live in Los angeles county.

When everyone know that they are caused by Earthquakes. And to use mercury filled lightbulbs to save the earth when these bulbs will find their way to landfills and cause even more pollution? Why won't they consider nuclear power when its been shown to be safe in our country for years? Now I here that they say that having a third child is as bad as driving an SUV or not recycling? The more these radical environmentalists say the less credibility they are going to have when there really are environmental issues that need to be addressed. We need environmental solutions that we can really use on a wide scale rather than scare tactics or poor solutions to environmental issues that will come back to bite us in the ***.

An 18 year old Italian girl tells her Mom that she has missed her period for 2 months. Very worried, the mother goes to the drugstore and buys a pregnancy kit. The test result shows that the girl is pregnant.
