Is answers doing some site maintenance or what, 90% of people's avatars aren't showing up on my computer, even my own is missing. Instead it's replaced with that stupid grey head.

That happens from time to time when they're doing maintenance on the site. It will come back.

Yes i see it also, but it happens from time to time, they are working on something or updateing thier system, you will get used to it, still --enjoy yourself and answer all the questions that you can pass along helpfull info to the asker, Yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I can see your avatar but you're right - they do seem to come & go. Everytime they 'update' they screw things up more!
