I love to listen to techno while driving around at night. The music gets me all hyped up and all I want to do is speed around town. Its hard to drive the speed limit when I'm on the highway listening to techno at night.

I am 5'9, currently 142 pounds. I would love to get down to 135 ( actually I want to be much less) but i will settle at 135. I was wondering if consuming 1750 calories a day for the next 5-6 months would do the trick, i know slow and steady wins the race,. and if i cut back too far i will binge. I also exercise about 30 minutes a day. and sit in front of the computer the remainder of the day.. but dont get me wrong i am active. i do the housework and run and up and down stairs during the day. i am in my early 20's. what do you think of this diet ?

One fine day in Ireland, a guy is out golfing and gets up to the 16th hole. He tees up and cranks one. Unfortunately, it goes into the woods on the side of the fairway. He goes looking for his ball and comes across this little guy with this huge knot on his head and the golf ball lying right beside him. "Goodness," says the golfer then proceeds to revive the poor little guy. Upon awakening, the little guy says, "Well, you caught me fair and square. I am a leprechaun. I will grant you three wishes." The man says "I can’t take anything from you, I’m just glad I didn’t hurt you too badly," and walks away. Watching the golfer depart, the leprechaun says "Well, he was a nice enough guy, and he did catch me, so I have to do something for him. I’ll give him the three things that I would want. I’ll give him unlimited money, a great golf game, and a great sex life." Well, a year goes past (as they often do in jokes like this) and the same golfer is out golfing on the same course at the 16th hole. He gets up and hits one into the same woods and goes off looking for his ball. When he finds the ball he sees the same little guy and asks how he is doing. The leprechaun says, "I’m fine, and might I ask how your golf game is?" The golfer says, "It’s great! I hit under par every time." "I did that for you," responds the leprechaun, "And might I ask how your money is holding out?" "Well, now that you mention it, every time I put my hand in my pocket, I pull out a hundred pound note" he replied. The leprechaun smiles and says, "I did that for you. And might I ask how your sex life is?" Now the golfer looks at him a little shyly and says, "Well, maybe once or twice a week." Floored the leprechaun stammers, "Once or twice a week?" The golfer looks at him sheepishly and says, "Well, that’s not too bad for a Catholic priest in a small parish."

Everything I need to know about life, I learned from Noah's Ark
One: Don't miss the boat.
Two : Remember that we are all in the same boat.
Three: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
Four: Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
Five: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
Six : Build your future on high ground.
Seven: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
Eight: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
Nine : When you're stressed, float a while.
Ten: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.< /SPAN>
Eleven : No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.

There are some views put out by the church that maybe everyone doesn't agree with. I can't think of all the examples, but a Catholic friend of mine said he never liked the idea of purgatory.

I'm mostly concerned with the views on gays. How can the Church declare homosexual acts a sin? And why? Aren't you supposed to accept everyone?

I often visit an ethnic american message board to read and contribute to discussions on various issues. One issue that often crops up is rises in the numbers of out of wedlock children.

Many of the men on the site feel that women are ultimately responsible for OOW children because all they have to do is "close their legs". They feel that women are more responsible because women are ultimately the ones left "holding the baby" so to speak, so its down to them to take greater preventative action.

I feel however that men and women are equally responsible, as i do not see why the fact that the woman usually shoulders the responsibility of caring for the child, has any bearing on the rights and wrongs of OOW children.

I want to ask the question here, because there is a broader spectrum of races here, so i can get a more international perspective.
